*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

there are some very small bubble between the rear camera and the flash.

What are these bubbles? you have small bubbles right there?

I went through 4 brand new handsets in carphone warehouse because they had what looked like bubbles in the paint under the glass.

I couldnt actually see them until yesterday when it was sunny then they stood out like a sore thumb.

2 of them had bubbles under the glass (in different places on the back) and the third had a faulty loose fingerprint button that rattled when touched ever so slightly.

The manager was not happy about me refusing each phone but i had spent £600 on a phone i want it perfect.

Its for us that ordered the 32gb off the DE site. Because of the delay they offered us 30 euros off and the option of taking a S6 Edge with TMobile branding which would have pre-installed apps and Tmobile splash image on boot.

Don't thing the 64GB Edge people got any offer.

And definitely no branding on my one! All my mates are envious  I initially ordered the green s6 edge then got the email... Glad I did.. The black still looks the bee knees

Cheers, I used the original email ad took them up on the offer, got the 32GB Edge in black due monday now. :)

Just need to sort a nano sim out.

Anybody else having issues with apps reloading? I can only use about three apps before the first one redraws when I open it. Chrome redraws most of the time. It's much worse than my N5, which had a gigabyte less RAM. Infuriating!

LP memory leak and Touchwiz was bound to be a bad combination?

Yeah, hoping it will be better in 5.1/5.1.1. If not I'm selling up as this is unacceptable for a £600 phone. You can keep more apps in memory on an iPhone 6, which has 1GB of RAM!
iOS apps are more efficient and better coded. 5.1.1 supposedly fixes the leak. 5.1 didn't fix the leak according to a Google employee.

So efficient that I can't upload photos to onedrive when the screen is off. At least with android you don't have to nanny your phone to upload stuff when the phone is 'asleep'

Just took mine back to CPW about the blurry camera problem. The bloke managed to (temporarily) fix it by flipping the phone over, but it returns after a reboot. They offered me a swap for a new unit, but I asked for an M9 instead. So back to HTC.

The S6 is good on paper, but the whole thing feels like a bit of a pastiche in terms of design - both hardware and software. TouchWiz has improved but not quite to my liking. Still I wouldn't dissuade anyone from getting the phone, the CPW bloke said they hadn't had a single return so far before me and people were really happy with it.

5.1 fixed it on my Nexus 5 (or at least made it much less obvious).

I'm not sure it's the same issue on the S6 though. The Lollipop bug results in memory consumption increasing over time. My S6 is rubbish at multitasking even immediately after reboot. It seems like too much bloatware running in the background TBH.
