*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

It's reassuring that the GS5 LTE-A with the 1440p screen did about the same as its 1080p sibling, though it has a slightly bigger battery (2800 mAh).

Some proper whinging going on in the gsm comments. Make me laugh talking about the non removable battery hurting sales etc. To 95% of the people who buy the product this won't matter. Nor will the fact that it isn't using the snapdraggon 810.

Most people just don't care about those things. So long as it's fast and has decent battery life that's all they care about.

Even if my phone could last two days I'd still charge it every night :p

for those of us who have to do a bit of overseas travelling having a spare battery is often a rather nice luxury - shame to see Samsung taking this route but if the screen isnt too demanding and the soc is as efficient as a 14nm could be then it may have amazing battery life.

I do overseas travelling, hasn't stopped me using the Z3 to its fullest :p

These things are a great innovation:

I always keep a power bank with me so battery life is not an issue.

I want more info on the fingerprint sensor. It better not be swipe.

I'd agree the battery thing wouldn't be an issue if litium ion batteries didn't deteriorate after charging (as in their max capacity is constantly reduced over time). Unfortunately they do but because Apple have been able to get away with built in redundancy to their phones it seems the other manufacturers are following suit.
Annoying but hardly surprising.

I have a 12,000 mAh battery from EasyAcc that works well. Don't think I really need four parts but meh I guess it could be useful.

I'm thinking of getting a smaller capacity one that's easier to carry - any recommendations as we're kind-of on the topic?

I have the 10,000 Anker ones, there really nice and small, my GF has the 12,000 mAh EasyAcc one too and its a lot smaller than that. I typically just throw it in my bag so I don't notice the wiegth/size anyways.

Pretty much the one I showed. Anker astro gen2 6400mAh.
Or Astro slim3 6000mAh.
