*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

Any ideas as to why I can't run the Royal Bank of Scotland app on my s6 edge?.
Says something about the possibility of having an app that can cause issues, but I don't have any of the app's they list.

Yeah, it's useful for problem apps that stay open in the background and drain your battery, very annoying to check your phone after an few hours and find something still running and 30% of your battery is gone.

Android doesn't manage them that well.

Unfortunate that we can't use this on Google Play Services. :(

Cheers mate, I've gone through and set everything to 'autostop' after 10 minutes. Hopefully that should help battery life?

Does this seem a bit odd guys..

Used space 6.47GB

47.59GB available

Did some updates,..

Now 6.49GB used space

47.54GB available

So after updates, 20MB difference on used space but 50MB difference on available space. Am I miscalculating?

Very smexy, can't wait

How you finding it, enjoying it, battery life? :)

Well, coming from a z3 compact, the battery life certainly is worse on this thing.. but i was charging my compact every night whether it was drained or not. same thing with this beast, i charge it every night regardless. And it easily sees me through the day. the battery life has got a bit better after a couple of charges and discharges too. (for example.. last night i was on 12% battery life with 3h 55m screen on time)

thats the only con. the rest are pros. the screen is amazing. the build quality is exceptional. everything about it is great. i cant fault it! :D fingerprint scanner works first time every time too. i can put my thumb on it, upside down and it'll still unlock :D

Bare in mind some apps you may not want to auto stop, widgets for example, radio apps, music players, if the display is off in 10 minutes they will all be forced to stop.

It's kind of like greenify but less smart, still worth it for problem apps.

Sweet, thanks, really can't wait to get mine now :)

General question to all/anyone, is the S6 running the 64bit version of Android?
