**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

Well nobody I have seen has complained of battery issues yet. 8hrs SoT for some folks, 5+ for others. SoT means nowt in the grand scheme of individual configurations and usage though, but that's an example of the gains over previous phones people have had.
 
Just spoke to voda about not getting my VR set with my delivery, and apparently its sent seperately by samsung over the next few day.

Sounded a little fishy as there was no sign of it being included on my order number, but we will see.
 
i'm not even connected with Vodafone and i'm amazed as a company they are still going. Shocking customer service. It's as though the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.

I've now been told my order is late because they're waiting on my wireless charger!!!!!
Apparently these won't come in for a few days (couldn't be specific) and they can't deliver my phone until this has arrived.

This is now after i've been told an incorrect number attached to the account.
Order being delivered today.
Told my order will arrive tomorrow.
The web orders sometimes get stuck

so what was the point in the pre order!! i've not had any contact to state my order is delayed. or that the charger isn't in stock.

i'm absolutely appalled by there complete incompetence at dealing with customers and their issues.
 
Just had my s7 edge phone delivered by dpd, this is the first time I had to show my id.

Looking at the phone is looks great, im not sure if I should use it without a case on it.

Folk getting the vr check out on youtube for the simple hack that enables cardboard, there's much more free and entertaining content for cardboard.

this for me, only let down was the resolution of most of the content, weather that's a limitation on the display causing it or the available content.

The best thing i've used it for is either netflix or copying over a film and watching it via the cinema. Its brill if you use it on a long journey say on plane.
 
ANOTHER update from Vodafone.

they have a supply coming in on the 11th and orders will be fulfilled then.

i said it's pointless pre ordering as on friday i can go into a store a pick one up. The guy agreed with me and said he can understand where i was coming from.

i'm not convinced vodafone is the right company for me

If they have let you down I would go to another network mate, plenty to choose from and hopefully they will be a bit more competent!
