Can't I do this with TW? Surly I can see the number unread emails via stock gmail?
I'm keeping the screen naked...sure I have a Spigen Clear case on my phone but I've never had a screen protector on any of my phones since Gorilla Glass 2...never had an issue with scratches etc.
I don't feel the need tbh. My last few phones I have done without.
Even though the bloat has been dialled down, there's still plenty to be disabled. I may need to install that package disabler app.

To be fair the contract prices this time round are much improved and you really aren't being ripped off for the GS7 at all.

just tried speedtest and uninstaller app that I know have adds and they didn't show! Have you got an app for me to test?

Also, given that the camera is much more flush than the S6, and assuming you might use a case too, you'll never scratch that lens.
What would be nice (and hopefully what will come from a future update) is if it were possible to only have the Always On display when plugged in. It's a feature that I'm not too bothered about, but I can see it being handy at night when I want to see the time.

Might depend on the app kona as XE Currency certainly showed the ad for me.
I went for a Spigen rugged armour to start with, I prefer no case but I'm a bit paranoid while its new. I thought I might get a Spigen thin fit as well but this one doesn't really seem to add that much bulk.
I'm half tempted to get a screen protector as I'm a little worried in case I scratch it, but then again I've been carrying my last phone around in my pocket for 3 years with no problems.
Good video here for owners looking for a case. 10 Spigens reviewed and a good look at the silver edge. Flossy Carter is pretty funny and presumably wealthy considering all the phones and cases he owns. Rough handler and occassional beast mode.

Got mine today too (Edge). Very impressed so far, the build quality is awesome and the camera is very good!
I got a Spigen Tough Armor too, very impressed with that and it doesn't add much bulk at all to the phone and makes it less slippy.

IIRC, Toview has ads too
IIRC, your nexus 6 is rooted with adblock kona, it could be that as iirc for the adblock plus app, in order to block ads when on the mobile data, you had to have root as it did something with regards to the APN settings or something like that iirc...
Yeah they aren't too bad although I don't really want to be tied into a 24 month contract again, I'm currently on a monthly 3 sim for £12.90 with unlimited data although I should be getting the letter sometime soon so who knows, if I see some good contract deals with decent data amount, I might go back to 24M...
I could buy the GS 7 now if I wanted too but I can't justify spending over £500 for a phone especially when it is more than likely to drop a bit in a month or so

I Use Googles messenger app. With the stock app there are settings for delivery and read reports.

Amazing camera. I am very pleased with that and I like the general look and feel of it. The sound doesn't compare to my old z2 though. It is probably the rubbish headphones they supply. I'll investigate in a new pair I think.

How does the home button feel on your S7? Mine feels funny, almost like I'm clicking it twice, when I'm clicking it on the left of the button.
