Been using mine caseless for almost 90% of the time since March and no scratches or marks on the metal rim. Have a dbrand on the back which provides more than enough protection

My G935FD (Duos version) just arrived!

It seems to be a UAE model, so I am wondering what the process is for getting it onto UK firmware please? Apparently I can flash another firmware from SamMobile, but still keep the dual SIM functionailty.

There are so many different firmware versions though! Which one do I need? I assume it's either BTU or XEU?

And what software do I need to flash please? Is it KIES or something?

Also last question - will I be able to VOLTE call to an iP7 on the same network (e.g. Three)?

Another day, another issue - does the "OK Google" voice recognition not work for anyone else whilst the always on display is active? I have to wake the phone up first (rendering it a pointless exercise). If you disable AOD it works fine. Anyone else?

Edit: Its just started working again now. Obviously its as hit and miss as its always been (even on other phones).

Yea, ordered one of those not sure how long it takes though.

Braver man than me. Mine fell 5 foot onto a hard floor the other day so I was glad of having a case!

On the subject of which, any recommendations for a case that both looks very good + classy but still affords a good standard of protection. I've been looking at the Spigen Hybrid case and the Obliq Slim Meta. Any other suggestions?

Very happy with my Spigen Rugged Armor, doesn't add too much bulk and I think it looks good (though I know that's subjective)

Galaxy S7 Edge Case Rugged Armor from Spigen is my favourite one, along with the official flip case cover one.
