Another S7 (SM-G930W8) appears on Geekbench:

Is it still the case Samsung are going a new UI direction on this? Now that I'm stuck on the Z5, I might skip this year I'm figuring unless the SD820 gains are very worthwhile.
So 5.1" and 5.5" displays:

would an S7 be a decent upgrade from the S5.
Got an upgrade due in May, currently have the S5.
Not really tech minded with mobiles, would an S7 be a decent upgrade from the S5. I did look at a friends S6 at the weekend and the build quality was signifcantly better than the S5.
Last upgrade I did was the S2 to the S5 and it was worlds apart. Still prefer the smaller size of the S2 tbh tho![]()
Ah my bad, is there not much info out yet?
Anyone own s5 then can upgrade to s6 or s7 but s6 users don't need upgrade until next new s8 by 12 month time... I own s6 edge in emerald green seem good one.. Smooth and fast as s7 is wee same as s6...
The S820 chipset loses on multi-core performance (it's a quad-core), but it does win the single-core fight - 2,282 for the S820 and 1,873 for the 8890 chipsets.
Nice - it's all about the single core performance which all apps make the most of.
