**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

I reckon I'll pick one of these up when initial prices drop... looks like a real powerhouse and thank christ they brought the waterproofing back again.

I hope so. Always loved the note series but its not as unique as it once was and they need to change that again.

And how would you suggest they make it "unique" again?

By making it the powerhouse it once was instead of the only thing that stands out on it compared to other phablets being the s pen. The last few notes have basically been a S series with a big screen and a pen. Id like to see them add some differences to really make it stand out.

That's what I'm asking, what differences? The selling point of the note IS that it has the S-pen... otherwise the S series has such bleeding edge hardware that what do you expect them to add that isn't in those?

It wasn't just the S pen though it was the size and power aswell. Now with so many companies bringing out phablet sized phones its not as unique anymore.
I would like to see it separate itself more from the S series by being different. Especially since its released much later. Maybe a better camera,4K screen even faster cpu and gpu, flexable screen. Theres plenty of things Samsung can do to make it stand out more. I wonder how many people even use the S pen.

No news on Samsung going the Xperia/Moto route and toning down the "skinning" they have done up until now.

If they did this I would actual consider one. I love my 6p but its just too big, and nothing else offers a solid build, Oled, camera combo that I lust after with good software.

Like the curve and minimal camera hump.

Dont like the glossy fingerprint back, it looks cheap and looks plastic like the back renders did.

Now trying to wonder if thats solid black or they've continued with the ugly black saphire colour shift thing.

So 0-80% in 30 mins looks like QC3.0 is standard on it too, makes sense. But is that enabled on the Exynos version too since we won’t get the SD820 one?
