**** The Official Samsung Galaxy S7/Edge Thread ****

That's good news to me. I placed my order on 1/03- no word from Parcelforce yet. Did everyone who is having their shiny new phones delivered tomorrow receive the text around 16.00 today?

If yes, this would lead me to believe that those of us who haven't heard anything yet will probably not see it delivered tomorrow...
 
S7 edge/black on 23rd, got text today about del due....but like others say, there is a good chance its just the VR unit, but TBH I would like to hope the company that makes them does ship sooner than other companies who sell them, for Sammy.
 
Surely we'd have the VR by now? They've been out ages and with them being in stock for weeks they could have sent everyone's out when they made their pre order.
 
All guess work, but VR monday phone tuesday, less time for people to get refund and yet have the VR unit in hand.

Best person to ask will be someone with text saying del due monday, who bought the phone with a bank card, not credit (takes few days to update) should show up if money has been taken (or does sunday mess with that?) if money gone then its phone, if money not gone, then VR only...all guess work.
 
As much as I want mine I really hope those who ordered early haven't been screwed over. But just for info, black edge ordered 03/03, text received at 16:30 today. Also, I received an order acknowledgement email this morning, rather than just the pre-order acknowledgement email I received the day I placed it.

Surely they wouldn't just be the VRs would they? I can't imagine them doubling their courier costs sending them out separately. Nobody really wants that before the handset, would make sense if it was the other way around and they had no VR stock but wanted to get the handsets out on time.

Did others who got the text also get the order confirmation email this morning?

Looks like they are working overtime and just processing random orders regardless of when preordered.

Did you order from Samsung?

I didn't have any email today, just the text from the courier.
 
Any that have had emails etc, can you check your Samsung page as mine still saying awaiting but in the notes part its saying.

05/03/2016 Sent email - Samsung Upgrade Programme - order ***-***-***-shipped

Not received an email yet though or text message.
 
Also, if people who have had the text messages go to the shop page and scroll down to track order and confirm notes and status?
