Ok, so there are 49 pages in this thread, i've been through some of them but i still can't find a decent description with regards to:

- how to identify what sort of panel you have
- if you have a crap panel, what are the settings that you need to use to get it right?

Any help would be much appreciated.

according to some ppl in these forums the samsung panel is the worse....if your happy with it then the panel type shouldnt matter.

panel type can be on the back sticker or service menu or may have been removed altogether now.


if you think 'OMG WOW' when you first see it then its probably a S

If you see an S, then you have a Samsung panel... which is generally considered to be the best.
