Amazing. Always wanted one but a) Couldn't decide between the Boeing and Airbus modules and b) I couldn't afford it anyway

T minus 4 days until Broadband. And then, that weekend, the wife wants to go furniture shopping.. :mad:

Never done the mission addons I know there are some good ones out there.

Landing the plane on the bus is a good one in the original FSX setup.

I only decided to go for it after looking into LINDA (http://fs-linda.com/)
After having a play it seems that I should be able to program most, if not all planes for it

When do you get your new toy? I dug out my FS2crew for the J41. I can see why I don't use them much, so fiddly but will try stick it out.

Thought my FSX was ****ed again. Started getting that ntdll.dll(what ever it was)error again. Also got an error with ASN found the fault on the forums and still it wouldn't go, so had to do a reinstall :rolleyes:

Pain in the ass I tell you.

I have heard that there is a issue with high altitude winds with ASN and the devs are looking into it. So maybe a patch soon.

no mate not a fsx re- install . Just ASN again.

Going to uninstall orbx vectors again or tweak my cfg file. Was getting some crazy lag earlier. Saying that I didn't have my other pc on, so my main pc had everything running. :rolleyes:

mate I will fly later but it be after 9 tonight I think. Got a contract to write out for some work we got.

The housemove has gone well thank you. We're back into a routine and my broadband went live this morning.. wooooop!

I can't fly tonight, but hopefully at somepoint over this weekend and definitely by next week.

Excellent, sounds good.

I am writing a nifty little LUA script for calculating and inputting V speeds for the DASH (means you wont have to look them up, a simple key press will set them for you)

Anyone with a registered copy of FSUIPC will be able to use it. Once it is working I will put it somewhere to download

Can you chaps tell me what I'm doing wrong.
My PC Clock is set correctly to GMT at say 10am. if I open up FSX and go to "Current Time and Season" it says Local time is 10am but GMT is 09am am I going mad?
In Settings/General I've tried checking and un-checking the use "system time for free flight" but it makes no difference. I've checked the BIOS and it also reports the same time as when I'm in Windows. I've also checked my region/timezone settings in Windows and that's set correctly to UK/GMT
I don't doubt I've got something ticked wrong I just can't figure out what!!!
The default aiport for me is Biggin EGKB not that that should make any differnce

iirc, you need to resave your default flight if it was saved with the wrong offset, i.e saved when before clocks change etc (if that makes any sense!?)

Just tried saving both ways and it made no difference. (GMT is always an hour behind local time) Or are you saying that I won't be able to correct it until the clocks change at the end of March? It's not a big deal at all I'll just stop trying to find a solution until then

I would highly recommend for anyone into flight simming to watch Episode 13 Season 3 of Person of Interest, towards the end of this particular episode is something that should be appreciated by any simmer, it certainly tickled my funny bone.

Will try to upload that particular segment on my youtube channel in the near future perhaps.
