Ive pre-ordered online last night. So it gives me 7 days to test the phone, if its no good its going back like the N97.

Looks very nice, just a bit concerned about the operating system. I really liked the look of the N97 until YouTube videos started appearing showing off the interface. Hopefully SE have made some drastic improvements to Symbian with this one.

Vodafone should be shipping this from the 13 of this month.

According to Vodafone, they aim to deliver ON the 13th! so they probabily will ship a couple of days before.

Rang up Voda this morning to try and pre order and see what they would offer in contract terms and basically i got shot down in flames, especially when i'm offering for them to upgrade me, they actually tried to put me off, told me it would be a very unreliable phone etc tried to get me on a £15 a month contract instead of the £35 i said i would like... very confused to be perfectly honest, in the end i hung up and said forget it.

They probably tried to put you off the phone because it is one of the most expensive handsets out, and they realised you didn't want to pay the quoted prices or somehow they were losing out. Like what has been said it's a; minimum £35 for 24 months and I doubt they actually care about the customer finding the phone unreliable, there out to sell phones lol.

Plus; from the previews, reviews, blogs and videos I have seen, there is no problem with the OS. If there was, I wouldnt be buying one.

after reading a couple reviews, the battery isnt 1000mah, but a tiny 950mah

the same one found in the N95 classic. sigh.

Well thats kinda what conclusion i came to, but i said i'd be willing to go for the £35 24 month contract, it was when i said that, that the guy started pushing for the £15 sim only contract...

Gunna ring tomorrow, lay the cards down on the line with them, i really want one pre ordered, i don't like many phones and this one is just what i'm after... no other will suffice...

not even the iphone?

I got out of my 18month orange contract 10months early recently(due to the min call charge change fiasco), so been keeping an eye on what's coming out. been looking at this and the pre, any other phones of interest due out over the coming months?

Naa the Iphone doesn't float my boat, Satio all the way, truth be told, im a perfectionist with my phones, it has to ave half decent video recorder, good camera, xenon flash and decent computer software

OK this is annoying now! Does ANYONE know how to add Vodafone insurance to your basket on the Vodafone website? I have selected the phone and the price plan, but there isnt a way I can see how you can add insurance! :confused:
