SpaceX delays Polaris Dawn astronaut launch to Aug. 28 due to helium leak​

The historic mission is now scheduled to lift off early Wednesday morning (Aug. 28).

We'll have to wait at least another day to see SpaceX's historic Polaris Dawn astronaut mission lift off.
Polaris Dawn, which will conduct the first-ever private spacewalk, had been scheduled to launch early Tuesday morning (Aug. 27) from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. But a helium leak has forced a delay of at least 24 hours.

Shame for the delay but they're now scheduled to launch tomorrow (28th) at 03:38 EDT (07:38 UTC/08:38 BST) with backup windows at 05:23 EDT (09:23 UTC / 10:23 BST) and 07:09 EDT (11:09 UTC / 12:09 BST).
Hopefully there won't be any further issues.

SpaceX hasn't announced a new target date, but it has ruled out tries on Wednesday (Aug. 28) and Thursday (Aug. 29).

Looks like the starliner undock is in a 2-3 of hours then maybe 5-6 hours later the de orbit burn, I’m sure it’ll all end up going to plan

Big few hours for Boeing, I imagine they'll be toast if they screw this up
