**The Official Star Wars Battlefront II Thread (PC)**

I recently reinstalled this and have been playing through the campaign.

It loks lovely, runs brilliant and is a complete blast - flying a x-wing from the cockpit with the volume turned up whilst i pump red laser into tie interceptors is mesmorising.

Wish i could pilot a Correlian corvette - but hey, you cant have everything

It's a good game now, it's no longer the mess it was at launch, everything is able to be purchased with credits you earn from daily missions and playing the game, therefore there is no pay to win at all as it's all cosmetic.

Galactic Assault can get frustrating with the amount of heroes that can be deployed on the field, but it's still good fun. I like extraction a lot though, it's my favourite mode.

Gotta say, multiplayer is great fun. Yes, it can get annoying as a new player trying to get their bearings and getting raped by high level players before you even know what's hit you, but I don't care because I got lifted up and thrown across a room by Darth Vader using the force and another time I ran around a corner and was hacked down by General Grievous and his four lightsabres. That said, it isn't too difficult to get kills though. So that is good.

One thing I've loved about the Battlefront games is the optimisation. It's been pretty impressive. Still managing this game DX11, High settings at 1440p and I'm still on a GTX980!

I prefer to play in 1st person, but if I choose certain characters I can't select 1st and have to suffer 3rd person which means I'm totally **** with those characters. I keep pressing the assigned button to change view but, if I choose to use my battle points on Chewbacca for example, it just changes the shoulder over which you view 3rd person and won't go into 1st person view at all. It works fine if I just stick with the generic options of Assault, Heavy, Officer and Specialist just not on any of the other characters.

Is this normal, or am I missing something?

Gotta say this though, getting the kills to unlock the weapons in multiplayer is a right pain. You do 99% of the damage to a player only to have someone else hit them once and get the kill, and then all you get is an 'assist' which doesn't count towards anything.

Play extraction/strike, it's easier to get kills.

? Star Wars Battle Front 1 had a campaign? this is honestly news to me and is why I did not buy it.
(unless you thought i meant Battlefield 1...... which would be understandable but was not what i meant)

Battlefront 1 didn't have a campaign, so i assume he means Battlefield 1.
