They never sold it as us being able to manually land/take off (like no man's sky) but seeing it in action like this is a bit disheartened. I think expectations/assumptions got ahead of me a bit with the one.

You're better off asking yourself that question as you seem pretty triggered by them.

Watched a bit of Cohh's stream, looks good to me so far, but switched it off as I don't wanna ruin too much.
Should be ok for GPU (7900xt) but a bit concerned that my 3700x may be at it's limit....time I went back to trying to get the 5950x to play nice with my motherboard!

Yeah from what I watched it looked and felt a lot like Fallout in Space (minus the bugs), which I suppose was probably to be expected
Some people will be happy about Fallout in Space, some people wont. Will all boil down to the individuals expectations
What I heard from GmanLives review (before I stopped listening 'cause I don't want any spoilers) sounds like exactly what I was hoping for - a polished Bethesda game with enormous scope and many hours of gameplay.

You said that Cyberpunk was a pile of poo, not that you thought it was. The gaming community has very positively reviewed the game now and there's no debate whether it's poo or not.
