***The Official Starfield Thread*** (As endorsed by TNA)

Well, the whole thing Todd said about being able to explore anywhere and it being a massively epic world. Seems like there's just a lot of loading animations that put you down in set places as opposed to genuine exploration.

Anywhere like as in the whole planet? He said that? Did not know. Would be boring as **** anyway unless they had the best ever procedural generation ever made. Hopefully one day we do get that.

How many people travelled further than that in NMS and if you really want that, there’s NMS?

The only person I trust is myself tbh.

Elite Dangerous Odyssey uses oxygen supply to stop you going 'too far' so that leaves yes NMS, or Star Citizen, only the latter will let you orbit dropship ships / vehicles with in ships.

Star Citizen has plenty of its own problems, but to this day its still the only complete package.

I mean NMS was OK, but there’s nothing interesting to see on any part of the planet.

We just need it to actually be finished.

I guess to be fair to Todd, you can explore everywhere, you can land wherever you want. Doesnt mean there will actually be anything there worthwhile to look at though :)

You said that Cyberpunk was a pile of poo, not that you thought it was. The gaming community has very positively reviewed the game now and there's no debate whether it's poo or not.

But it is a pile of poo in my opinion. But at least I tried it before jumping to conclusions.

If you listen to what Todd has said in answering questions, he's been very careful with what he answers. I feel of you've followed the game a little a lot of these things wouldn't be a surprise.

I hope the stash containers can be separate. As in not like fo76 where you have 1 stash box and that's it. I want 1 for each category of my inventory.

Loading times look to be a bit annoying, especially when you factor in so many newer big games that have almost instantaneous loading on current consoles.

They should have tried to make use of direct storage or whatever it is called. Hopefully loading on pc with a decent nvme is not long between transitions.
