I'm starting to see more bugs as I get further in to the game and not funny ones like in Skyrim.

Stuff like NPCs inside walls, weird ship interior bugs. I saw a NPC outside on Titan dressed only in what looked like a lumberjack outfit, no space suit.

Yes, it does appear to get buggier the further into the game you get. It is kind of starting to feel a little fragile :p

I have heard its possible to find 5.

Or even 6 so it seems :)

Going into more details, the AMD Software: Adrenalin Edition Preview Driver for AMD Fluid Motion Frames adds frame generation technology to DirectX 11 and 12 games on AMD Radeon RX 7000 Series Desktop Graphics.

Owners of RDNA 3 GPUs can enable AFMF by using HYPR-RX or by individually toggling the setting using the Global Graphics Settings page.

For those who want to do New Game Plus for a few cycles and still want to keep achievements working (so no mods/console cmd), yet don't want to endure the losses and grind to earn back the money and equipment; with very little outlay and rss needed the below Outpost-Weapon Chest perk doesn't feel like cheating. I have found this the most efficient and effective method, certainly better than the prolonged no longer working glitches, resource gathering / grinding / Outpost production etc etc.

[My rationale/lore is this works the same way as the power which pulls a duplicate self from another universe to fight with you. If the weapons did happen to disappear after I've sold them to shopkeeper (they don't), it's not my problem. Something something Starborn....]

Pick your system and planet level depending on the grade of weapons you want. Annoyingly, the lower level systems, and thus standard grade weapons, have been giving me more legendaries.

To collect all weapons and resources back instantly which isn't in this Vid, the shortcut is to simply delete the outpost then lay it out again. Takes 30 seconds per cycle to set out, manifest, collect and reset 40 crates.

After a c80hour first universe run through; in NG+ I've been doing the Mantis and Ranger questlines for immediate cash, kit, ships etc then skipping the main quest instead going straight to collecting artifacts and powers.

Before using the Outpost perk, I've ended up with c250k credits and decent kit/ships without much effort. I'm not sure if I have the inclination to get to NG+10 though

I left the Razorleaf where I found it and flew back to New Atlantis with the Frontier. After a bit of running around I thought I have a look in the ship builder and see what I could do to upgrade the Razorleaf, just checked but didn't do any modifications. When I exit the builder and turned around, then the Frontier was gone and the Razorleaf was there instead ? And no, I did not make the ship my home ship so have no clue why it changed ship for me ? I went back into the ship builder and played around a bit with the Frontier, hoping that would swap them back but nope ! Anyone have any clue as why that happened ? I did do a quick save before talking with the mechanic so just reverted to that so have the Frontier again but was curious if this is a normal behaviour ?

Also, poor Vasco ended up with his head smashed into the Razorleaf ! :(

Will it let you swap your home ships OK now though?

I've had this on modification before but can't remember what triggers it although it seemed intentional.

Yeah getting bored of this now. Even though I haven’t played it solidly due to work etc ive just finished the pirate line and decided to work off the main line. Can’t see me playing thru NG+ tbh. I enjoyed it for the most part but the annoying parts are grating on me. Will come back and see what the updates or dlc do later.

I was thinking same thing earlier. The more I play the buggier it gets. Got 3 broken quest chains I can't complete now (including main quest). Think I might put it down for a few months until everything is patched. Thing is if I put it down now I'll probably never play it again

I got the Narwhal ship, changed the auto turrets coz they seemed pointless and removed the missiles coz I fired them a few times and didn't seem to do much damage. It's ok I guess. Has too many ladders (more than 0) :)

Level 50/51 now, I was levelling up fast, just keep returning to the mission board on Deimos station, kill the pirates. I've only had one regret taking the wrong mission in Nova where the mission sent me to so pirate owned planet I think coz there were like 20 ships all attacking me and my auto turrets didn't help at all. I might go back to see if the new guns are better :)

The ship building needs to be overhauled, coz I have no idea how people actually use that, you can't save your ship and back out of it until things are stuck on correctly. I might try hacking the Narwhal down. Or just buy another ship.

Have you seen the nekked security guard in New Atlantis? I've seen him three or our times now. Maybe he's a Nord? And I'd not seen the clipping issue for a while until last night. I get the distinct impression that the recent patch has caused more bugs than it fixed.

If you use the R and F keys you can move up and down when doing the ship building, to make it easier to align stuff. More explained in this video by CohhCarnage. Hopefully I got it right where he explains it, if not it is at the 14:06 mark.

R and F to adjust what height snap point on the ship the thing you are attaching goes onto. But you can also just mouse over the point you want something to snap to and hit G to attach directly to there. It's still tempermental, and "features" like not being able to control where ladders are placed is annoying. But still, how many other games let you build a pretty unique spaceship? I'll take it for now!

Whoah! Cheers, guys - that was it! I swear I'd scanned through my key bindings to see if I was missing any keys, but didn't see them. Ok, that makes tinkering with my ship a lot more convenient!

There's a ship building tweak mod on Nexus, might be what you need.

That looks good, but I'm waiting to see if I want to do NG+ before modding this time, I think.

I'm playing this game quite a lot of an evening now, and actually kind of hooked. But also somewhat both really liking it and in some ways not liking it very much at the same time.

Definitely frustatred by all the loading screens. Even the most basic seeming quests seem to send me through six or seven loading screens on my way to complete objectives. Can't quite understand why there are so many, but I guess ever 'twas thus with Bethesda games.

Also missing the more in-depth RPG elements. It's feeling like a toned-down looter shooter with perks. It doesn't drown you in incrementally better loot like, say, Borderlands, but I have found much more improvements in my character from random drops of epic and legendary weapons than level-ups. And level-ups are now hard to come by and the perks a bit underwhelming. Now, I *like* looter shoorters for the most part, but I gues I was also expecting to have more character development options to play around with than this.

But... I can design my own spaceship, shoot space pirates, fly across the galaxy and land on planets. Even if it's not all free flight that it still pretty cool.

So, what builds and weapons are people using? Anyone found anything especially fun? I'm hald combat and half tech at the moment focusing on ballistic rifles.

So far managed to get 27 different resource types being extracted from 8 settlements.

I dont think that's too bad going.

Couple took me (literally) hours to find the sweet spots, you have to land as close between 2 biomes as possible, then when you find the divide, run along that with your outpost beacon open. The last one I have found just now was Gold, Lithium and Mercury was on the edge of 3 biomes.

I only have a few resources left now, Silver being next priority as its quite a common requirement.

Then I will tackle the natural resources, but I dont think there are anywhere near as many of those, so getting there I think.
