Hang on, so upgrade for DLC and early access but if you end sub it was for nothing as don't own the actual game?

I chose this option for NG+1 and skipped the main quest but not sure I chose the right option for me as want to stay on this timeline for now.
I got all the powers from my main play through so I’m undecided.

Doubt I'll ever end the sub tbh, works out far better value since I play a good chunk of the games. I very rarely replay games too, if I know I'll be replaying a game, I'll buy it. Starfield hasn't achieved the same greatness as cp 2077 and doubt I'll get the same hours from starfield as I did and still am with cp 2077

80+ hours for what I paid is a bargain and I still got dlc and tons on future mods which will add loads of content
What's the point of dlc and mods if the core game is pretty meh though? You can't polish a turd

As I said, got my moneys worth out of it. Even as it turned out I still had more fun with it than the Cyberpunk dlc.
We have Fallout London coming out soon. If someone attempts something like that with Starfield, might turn out well.

Only so I can justify that I don't need a 4090 when I see the glorious performance for a last gen game
I want to try the beta update.... But what else is there to experience in the game after 31 hours isn't still going to be meh? I feel I've explored what there is to explore and the rest appears to be copy paste assets between planets.
Faction quests are only so interesting tbf, I did a mix of a bunch and started to then explore planets before the realisation set in that actually, it's too tedious.

Lol so just installed and updated to the beta. Continued from last save onboard the Frontier and my crew are all there, right away Sarah has a go at me:
Then 3 seconds later she really wants to talk as if she's no longer moody:
And then, she decides to talk to the instrument panels:
Amazing it's just like real life
... As for the beta, well seems to work, DLAA 3440x1440 max settings is over 100fps basically all the time, but when you go back into settings the DLSS mode shows "Ultra Performance", so it seems it's the label itself which doesn't work correctly even though the actual setting you choose does apply and stick. So if you set DLSS Quality, it shows as Balanced the next time you enter settings, setting DLAA shows Ultra Performance the next time you load. How annoying is that.
CPU and GPU utilisation are vastly improved now, seems this is how it should have been from day 1, even on the frontier with DLSS modded before without FG enabled the fps would dip into the 70s, but now it's over 90/100 and that's with DLAA.

You can revisit the temples to level powers further via Vlad each NG+. You always get some temples to visit by default and as you fly around.
It depends whether you intend on staying in NG+1 or progressing to later NG+ universes.
