But for us pure PC gamers who don't also then have to buy a PS5, it's actually cheaper getting it on PC and having a technically better presented game with higher performance :p

I had no technical issues with Spiderman though, on a 3080 Ti at that time, ran really well and looked great with all the RT on. RE4 remake requires the DLSS mod injected in via REFramework to look good otherwise FSR is just trash as usual. So some modding knowledge is required here.
Bought Spiderman last week and it shuts my whole PC down, using a 3080TI

Diminishing returns but sure. Can't say PC gaming offers better v4m in recent years. Unless paying extra for shader compiler stutter and shoddy ports is deemed a good thing lol.
I'd still rather play Starfield at 70+ fps - 30-ish fps on the XBox must be miserable

Sounds like the PSU issue I had with some games way back with the 3080 Ti. The PSU was basically tripping as the 30 series cards have really high transient power spikes that cause certain PSUs to spike shutting them down. If you hear a relay click as it shuts down, then you have the same issue and the solution is to get a newer PSU.

Gamers Nexus did a great video on transients and what can happen in some, not all, games. I only saw it happen on like 2 games, but it was enough to warrant a PSU upgrade.

Or in my case RMA the thing to Seasonic because it had an issue where it would shut down the pc under heavy load (but less than the spec).

Known issue apparently with my 850w one I had.

It's the only game it's ever done it on,and it seems to have happened to a few people after searching on Google.I even tried lower resolution and settings and it still did it

Can't believe BG3 is winning all those awards without puddle reflections.

I think BG3 deserves GOTY, personally.

I did like the new R & C though, ran well and looked great, the comedy stuff in it felt a bit too childish for me, but the game play was fun.

Lies of P was another one that I liked a lot though I don't think it would hit GOTY levels.

I preferred all 3 of the above over Starfield.

I got bored before I finished it but I quite enjoyed BG3 for the most part. Spent more time overall with Starfield but there hasn't been a game that really impressed me that much for years. Certainly none this year, actually last one was Elden Ring.

I’m done with this game and I really want to like it. I’ve spent all day making a new outpost and then when I travel away and back to the outpost the game puts me a five minute walk away from it and when I get there all the ladders are missing. If I try fast travelling to my ship near the outpost then theres a wall of graphical glitches.

This game is ******!

Soooo.... basically my glitch was that I had moved the outpost beacon after I had built my outpost and as a consequence the marker for the outpost disappeared when in planetry view so you could no longer fast travel to the outpost.

A fix for this is to move the beacon back to where you originally placed it when setting up the outpost.

I've built another outpost now which I like better but this game is a glitchfest (typical Bethesda)

My outpost defenses keep vanishing, hope a patch fixes the outpost issues soon

Y, just found out my turrets all dissapear along with all the robots and mannequins so i've deleted them for now until this glitchfest is patched.

My ship just lost all it's custom colour also and reloading the game fixes it!
