I'm so sad.

I have an Elite V1, an Elite V2, and various other "ordinary" Xbox pads.

And yet, if Microsoft released an Elite V2 Starfield pad, I'd be all over it like a cat on a tuna sandwich.

It might have on launch, you never know :cry: That PureDark person said they will work on an injector as with the other Creation engine games that have been done.

Yeah lovely looking controller but because it's not an elite it's a waste of time unless you just put it on display and never use it

I hope this game runs great, but part of me just expects a broken game on launch with a "we're soooorrrryyyy" (South Park / BP)

I might be the odd one out, but I prefer the standard controller to the Elite V2. The former just feels more comfortable in the hand and a better weight, and is less prone to breaking down. For most games I can live without the paddles.

I'm sure it'll have quirks with the engine as we all expect with object interactions yet with HR phrases of "Every QA tester at Microsoft is working on Starfield" bouncing around, I feel this will be the most stable game yet by a large margin. However, I do feel it will be judged against Baldur's Gate 3 now and that's going to be a tough one.

I'm the opposite.

I have the front paddles set to the stick press function, and the bottom paddles set to X and Y.

Makes games so much more enjoyable, saves the awkward stick press (also less wear and tear), and X and Y easier to hit without stretching your right thumb.

I have a PS5 pad for those games that support it, and enjoy the extra haptic functions, but boy, do I miss those paddles.

Edit. Interestingly writing could "of" auto changes to could have in the post even though it shows as could "of" in the edit.

Desperately trying to get a premium key for this on MM.

Is anyone else secretly hoping that one of the systems we can visit has the Elder Scrolls World to visit? Obviously devoid of life except for mudcrabs etc with few recognisable ruins and landmarks? Think that would be a decent easter egg maybe

What's the best database so far? I feel the need to research the perks system to decide if I go pistols, smg's or smashy smashy build.

I'm going in knowing nothing about the game, apart from finding out it's set in space ( :mad: ).

It's the only way.
