Will most likely get my invitation to buy pretty soon, still not 100% if will go ahead with it or not. I had a switch a few years ago and hardly used that so dont want it to end up as another paper weight or something better come out a few months later.

Just bought a New Car (fun at $600+ a month LMAO) and a $699 3d Printer... probably gonna skip my invitation to buy as well now.

Was a day late to the party and only ordered on the 17/07/21. Still says July-Sept for the 512Gb model.

I take it those that have received theirs already all ordered on the 16/07/21?

Same. I forgot and was working so I managed to order 21/07/2021 at 15:52

Using that process to see when I'll get my email ETA it says for me last time I checked it was 31/10/2022. I have no idea how accurate that is lol.

if it continues like this i can see them fulfilling all orders by sept even people who pre ordered it this year may get them far sooner than they expected
they did mention they were doubling production but can it really happen that quickly ?

perhaps then they will launch in other regions and hopefully people won't need to wait months for the order maybe just a week or so

And then in Jan they’ll probably release Steam Deck V2. :p

Was on the fence as to whether or not to buy one when offered but at present I’m tempted. If they take too long I might not bother though.

I mean, there isn't really a new soc worth putting in the steam deck 2 yet, at least not one with significantly better graphics. So best guess they start shipping early 2024 for me, and then the same several month waiting time

i'd say 2024 and beyond for the steam deck 2 i would assume they will be better prepared for the next launch and we won't get this kind of slow and painful roll out of stock that we've had

looking at Fammy's Steam Deck order tracking spreadsheet i think its reliable ish

stema deck 64gb hasn't moved
steam deck 512gb jumped to 8.31pm i'm just under an hour away so perhaps it won't be too long now

Hopefully something like that. The current hardware is okay, but the software still needs to catch up so everything just works with game compatability and configs etc.

Had my invite, paid (256GB). But before and now I'm still debating if the AYA Air is better for me or one of the other heldhlds coming. The size of the deck is nuts and I feel might be a little too big, plus I'm cheap so only play budget games that are below a tenner.
