I am torn between getting that vs this.

Which you get 2 in a pack, and I think glossy do look better, marginally.

Also, anyone else getting this issue with FPS games? I tried HL2 but I keep looking at the floor or ceiling. Unplayable with KB/mouse.

Hmmm that's bad, not tried it yet as i'm looking at getting another mouse for the steam deck but wasn't sure whether to get a bluetooth one or wireless.

There was an update yesterday as well which i applied, no mention of what the update does though.
 
Just laid out the remaining balance for the 512... That extra £100 odd quid (over the 256) could have been useful to spend on pimping it up with a skin, dock and screen protector. Although, am I mad that I am considering just running it naked and not caring?
 
Well I got my invite to purchase but I can’t process the payment for some reason.

It’s sat in my Cart in Steam but neither PayPal nor my Visa Debit card have worked.

Logged a support ticket as I don’t know what else that I can try. Bit frustrating but very surprised that my order from 7:47pm on the 17/07/21 has come through TBH.

Hope you get it sorted. I ordered couple of hours after you, wasn't expecting to be able to complete the order for couple more weeks.

I tried a Mastercard, failed twice, Amex failed, worked with Paypal some reason though! 4th time lucky.
 
It turns out that the 2FA that my bank uses only prompted to authenticate when I ran the Steam client on my PC. No prompts at all when attempting multiple times with the mobile apps.

Just something to be aware of for anyone else having problems with their orders.

No, desktop but with Paypal.

Actually...i remembered...the order of things were...

1st attempt - Phone with Mastercard
2nd attempt - Desktop with same Mastercard
3rd attempt - Desktop with Amex
4th attempt - Desktop with Paypal - worked.

The first attempt was with the phone because i was watching TV on the couch at the time when the email came in and saw it pop up. So was lazy and tried to buy it from the phone, but it hung in the payment submit button page and nothing happened.
 
I wonder if its a server issue with a bunch of people getting their emails at the same time. That said I can't see why that would be the case. Im sure they get 1000 times the traffic any time a really big new game goes on sale.
