I arrived, I tried my best but after the two huge lumps of peri peri chicken, the third huge lump of chicken in a burger with salad, four spicy wings and two butterfly king prawns, the chicken and mayo wrap was one step too far, and has remained in the bag for now...

The bottle of wine is the same one I usually buy which costs me £4.99, so I effectively bought half a chicken coop worth of fried chicken for £3.81... Madness.

Well overall it was alright, chicken was cooked well, and it was all hot! But it was very much quantity over quality, and there was a hair in the wrap, which was of course the last thing I ate. Niiiiice.

Won't order from there again either I don't think! The only way its good value is if you order a tonne of stuff, which doesn't work if its just the one of you lol. Unless its curry or something which tastes much the same re-heated.

But still, bottle of wine and i'm stuffed full of chicken for the price of a tesco finest sandwich... :p

Nice timing!

I've got a craving for an Indian, pretty limited options on foodhub unfortunately. There is one that's great but half the time they don't have the option for delivery, so fingers crossed.
 
Yeah same here with Indian takeaways, have 27 options for food in my postcode and only one Indian within reasonable distance. Seems every single Chinese restaurant is on there though so they are clearly embracing the Foodhub platform :D
 
Stop moaning, there are only 10 in total for my area, all but two are your typical burgers/kebabs/chicken/pizza places. Of those 8, two of them are so overpriced that its not worth looking at the menu, and the only one that is consistenly good value delivers an hour late and occasionally the food is inedible.

The other two are both Chinese places. One is terrible, the other never seems to be listed as open...

And there are only ever three or four open at any one time. :p
 
Bleh, the place isn't doing delivery tonight either!

There is another Indian place that's really good quality stuff, but I refuse to pay the £8 delivery cost.

...So, I've went for something else, got some burrito combo's, cheese and jalapeno nachos, a portion of spicy chips, and a 14" pizza.

Came to £12 in total, VC20400 voucher + 15% off from the store ontop.

Will keep me fed for a few days.
 
There's 17 places in my area on FoodHub, 5 of those are constantly closed or day-time cafe places. The other 12 are mostly back street pizza/kebab shops, or are too far away that the delivery charge is obscene. The one or two Indian and Chinese on there are the worse ones in the area and not worth bothering with.

The 12" kebab pizza I got the other night with the £5 off was totally not worth the full price that's for sure. Least with these discount codes we get to try out which place is better than the rest with out too much outlay.
 
@LeeUK is it worth changing the thread title to "The Official Takeaway Voucher Code Thread" as there hasn't been any JE codes for ages,
you can change the title yourself in Thread Tools at top right of page
