*** The Official Takeaway Voucher Code Thread ***

Fancied a Chinese takeaway. Unfortunately it's only the scutty 2/5 hygiene rating ones in that Just Eat "Local Legends" thing, and Deliveroo only has the expensive Chinese restaurant in the centre of town.

I miss the FoodHub codes

JE doing 50% discount with code EAT50 and it can be stacked with restaurant's own discount but not sure if it's blanket coverage.

Interesting, first place i tried said "Code Invalid at this restaurant" so it's not for everywhere, i'll let you know if i can use it anywhere

EDIT: coming up as not working with local independent places that have accepted codes previously, got any T&C's for this offer? might be area dependent

I've not got T&C's for it, it was the restaurant themselves who posted it on a local FB group, hence why I mentioned that it might not be blanket coverage. It's just an independent back street place, not a chain or anything.

50% off at Just Eat "local legends" restaurants with code TREAT50 until the 3rd of November min spend £10, code can only be used once

My options were limited as i only had 1 restaurant out of 95 listed as a "local legend", but after trying lots of places i found an Indian Takeaway that accepted the code so it's worth some persistence!
as well as 50% off the food you also get 50% off the delivery (but not service fees)

This seems to have been replaced now, WITCH50 is working in it's place for my "local legend" at Just Eat. Not sure when it expires could be tonight.

I got given a better one for Uber Eats as i've Uber One so free delivery included, valid until 8th Nov, it's unlikely to work for everyone but worth a try.. OCTUK50MU

Used to get 7" garlic bread cheese at a local place in the 90s for £1 infact the place is still there owned by same owners since 1986. No longer a quid tho. :D
yeah I remember popping to my local takeaway for a small margarita pizza for £1 back when I was in 6th form lol

Even Dominos used to be quite reasonable back in the day, they used to do bogof on any size pizza before 4pm with just a £5 min order for delivery,
I'd get a small (9.5") margarita for £3.95 and add beef & bacon at 55p a topping = £5.05 and get the same again for free, so ~£2.50 per pizza delivered,
That was in the mid 90's 30 odd years ago though :D

In 2000's , there was a chicken n chips shop in eastham. 7" pizza with 3 toppings used to be £1. This was still a quid until recession kicked in in 2008.
The place used to be packed and people ordered dozens of pizzas from here. The pizza was tasty too and well baked.

Oh, and the £2 chicken biriyani place in Barking.

I miss those days!
