*** The Official Takeaway Voucher Code Thread ***

FDHUBGR3 for £3 off a £10 min spend at Foodhub, last time Foodhub gave this code out it was limited to 1,000 uses so it might go quick

Just Eat, fancied a Subway and decided to collect. 2 x 6" Subs = £11.98. I couldn't get the combo I wanted in the app so in the end, I decided to drive to the shop and order instead. 2 x 6" subs, £8.78.

Wow. That's a 36% convenience tax and it wasn't even getting delivered. Do people realise they're being fleeced to this extent? I never use Just Eat or any delivery app so I'm genuinely surprised at the popularity after seeing that.

It's genuinely shocking how much they charge. All the prices are jacked up, then there's the delivery fee, and the tip, it's such a rip. It's easy to pay double versus driving to the shop.

I've found that a few of my local places have their own websites, and they're often a good chunk cheaper than ordering through Just-Eat or Foodhub.

I never really bother with the big chain stores like Subway etc, however.

No decent discounts about but thought i'd post this as a heads up in case you didn't know...

Amazon are selling Just Eat and Uber Eats digital* gift cards for 10% off until tomorrow night (Wednesday 9th Oct)
*They just email you a code which you can upload to the respective accounts credit/wallet

It works out ok as technically you'l get 10% off your whole order inc delivery/service fees, and as it's treated as cash, that 10% saving will be on top of any restaurants own discounts

Also just to point out, make sure you're signed in to your account when redeeming a gift card,
there's a warning in the T&C's for Just Eat that if you pay for food with a gift card as a 'guest' then you'll lose any remaining balance if and when you clear/clean your cookies!

Do you know if that stops you using a discount code with this applied?

You can use a discount code/voucher on Uber Eats but not on Just Eat, with Just Eat you need pay by card/cash and not account credit when applying a discount code,
but voucher codes for them have been hard to come by recently so it shouldn't really make a difference, you can use account credit with restaurants own deals and stamp cards though
