Some possible good news for the final season of TWD :)

It looks like fans of The Walking Dead will be able to see the conclusion of the Telltale franchise after all.

The series has been picked up by Robert Kirkman, the creator of The Walking Dead comic book. His company Skybound Games will be publishing and helping Telltale develop the rest of the game.

The news was revealed as part of a New York Comic Con panel, where Kirkman stated: “We can’t lose Andrew Lincoln and Clementine in the same year.”

Skybound is currently ironing out the details on the partnership so we don’t know exactly when the game will be coming, but it has been formally revived, which is great news for fans.

Unfortunately, we still have no word on severance pay for the 250+ developers who lost their job during the closure of Telltale Games. Whilst its great to hear that we will see the end of Clementine’s story, hopefully, this issue will also be resolved.

That's Brilliant news, The first thing I did on hearing about the collapse of Telltale was get on Steam and grab the final season in case it gets taken of the store, How long it takes isn't a big deal for me, I've only just finished A New Frontier today and I've got two Batman, two Minecraft and the Guardians of the Galaxy to go so

I am glad someone is picking up the remaining episodes. Makes me wonder though how different it is going to be from the TellTale version, as I imagine none of the devs from there will be involved in this.

I would assume the script is already written, all they have to do is continue. Unless they are unable to continue using the same tools to carry on, then that may complicate things. But I doubt it.

Apparently the final season is only available on the Epic store . Looks like PC gaming is going the console route, with stupid exclusivity deals. I don't even think i'll bother with it now.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is back in development at the resurrected Telltale Games

Maybe things will change with the new news regarding Telltale Games being back in one form or another, I was lucky because I managed to get the final season on Steam before the games were removed.
