lol managed to do it finally, was more challenging than the rest of the game put together

tauntalus is a great race, its nice for something to be challenging in single player...though i admit i wasnt a fan of the radar speed challenges on some of the roads

tis possibly the twistiest race in the game, down a mountain, with traffic, with a driving gauge, and a tight time limit which you will go over if your gauge gets too low

Its very similar to the Mercedes 300SL delivery mission, but with time limit and you still have the damage penalty for poor driving.

It's defineatly one of the hardest races in the game, but its fun if you dont take it too seriously

You sure? Max is about 265/270

Yeah on paper...enzo does 260+ and on paper i think its 239.

Most I've had out the enzo and koenigsegg is 250 and 275, that was on the large stretch of motorway going east to west of the island, most of the other roads too bumpy

seeing as ive got 260 out of the f1 i would imagine TDUs ass kissing to ferrari would mean they could do more...dunno about the koenigsegg

Tell you one thing, I would absolutely love to see the Veyron in as a downloadable car

Any ETA on the downloadable car pack yet?

Cant wait to bomb around the island in an RUF (Porsche)

i wouldnt, just for the fact that on release youll see a server full of tuned veyrons...just doesnt seem right

however getting the RUFs, Lexii etc to the PC users would be nice

The huge motorway in the mountains. Its impossible to do without the A.I off trick though, as you have to use the wrong side of the road. With keyboard i can't get above 272mph, but with a analogue controller i've got 280+

This is the fastest i have a screenshot of...anything over 280 i can't seem to screenshot! the speed jumps from 279-282 so quickly. I tried spamming screenshot but it just made me lag and crash

Yer, thats the same part I use, I use the correct side usually though, and I managed 275 with the traffic on

Will have to try other side later, currently have traffic off so I'll see if I can beat my record

Took a stage 3 Maclaren F1 down that way earlier, most it managed was 270, bit pants when you consider how much it cost

The TDU servers seem very unreliable, at some point during the day i expereince a few hours where they are unavailable Anyone else noticed this?

They're still not working, if it is definitley the TDU servers then thats totally crap...

gamespy has gone to **** recently which isnt helping, and apparently the server cant handle the loads either...so TDU players are doubly ******
