The **Official** Test Drive Unlimited for PC thread

well i went back to XP from vista last night and it is weird saying this but i wish i hadnt, as now the game is unplayable i get about 1 fps and the graphics are all currupted and flashing :mad:
 
Considering getting this, are the servers very busy?

Also, is there player on player collision detection? I'd imagine that would get pretty annoying if your doing a challenge and some muppet comes steaming up the wrong side of the road.

In missions/races the multiplayer people aren't present, AI however is on sometimes and sometimes isn't. But then it doesn't drive on the wrong side of the road.


AI does however:

- Damage itself
- Turn INTO you instead of away when your driving towards them on the wrong side of the road.
-Indicate and move to one side of the road then indicated and move back within seconds.
- Crash, yes AI has crashes... lol

don't i know it, so annoying :(
 
Thought I'd try the millionaires challenge with the traffic off for a change, shaved 10minutes off my time :p

Had the traffic disabled last few days, just cruising around in single player, made a nice change but gone bit boring now, never thought I'd miss the idiotic AI but the island is eerily quiet without them lol

I think the AI is quite good, bit dumb most of the time - so just like driving in real life!! Maybe they are all women drivers? :eek: :D ;)

I've just got 100% coverage and now working through completing the missions! w00t w00t!
 
cool, the island mapping was a right chore to do...still its a relief when its done, as is finishing every sp mission...still need to do the mp races though...which will be a nice challenge...and probably one i cant do rofl

where do u find the percentage of roads covered in the game???.....those so many things in this game the manual doesnt cover.....has any1 got a link to a sight which tells u everything about the game...

Go to one of your houses, once inside goto Info ->> Game progress

Tons of information in there. :)
