Woohoo! Double XP. I will soon be able to unlock my spinfuser (or whatever its called) for my soldier.

Loving this game, on the verge of reaching lvl 8 and have noticed the pub games are full of much better players than me now :o

How do you unlock other classes? I tried to unlock the techy/engineer class but even though I have enough xp it still won't let me unlock it.

Been playing on and off since the beta but im still only rank 11 i think.
 
If you guys havn't paid to play yet, I would highly suggest paying for an XP booster as it's double XP meaning that you could have up to triple XP over the next few days!
 
I wonder how they are going to keep making money without killing this game? If they make you pay for maps that will segment the severs and if they keep introducing classes it will kill the game.

I guess they could keep adding different weapons but I assume it will end like BF3?

EDIT: Jim/Brad, any idea how we are coordinating within flam? I.e., when is the next game?

Game guides for different classes. Either that or some very nice recordings of pros from a different role perspective. I..e, Soldier on D & O :) I've seen lots of pathfinder recordings but not allot of anything else.

I guess this is why we need demo recording features within the game right.
 
Managed to play for like 6 hours last night/this morning without a crash. Might come pug with you guys if it stays reliable.

Can we also add to the OP some big bold writing that explains what a Llama grab is and why you should not do it.

Downloaded this last night, and will definitely be giving it a good whirl tonight. Hopefully my machine will be up to it.
Used to absolutely love Tribes 2 (that and DoD being the only two online FPS I've ever actually been any good at!). By the sounds of things this is a worthy sequel?
 
Never played this but i've got to say it looks interesting!

Couple of questions, how big is the total download? I only have 10Gb space free on my SSD, will this be enough?

Is this like surfing on CS:S a bit? Because if it is this will probably be an insta-download (if it'll fit) because I love surfing on CS:S.

The game is about 5GB big, my HiRez folder takes up 4.85GB.

As for Skiing, it's nothing like the CSS surfing mechanic.. that's simply a matter of leaning in the direction where the slope is the highest, Tribes Skiing is nothing like this at all.. but don't be put off by this, it's just another key part of the game that everyone has to get used to.

Once you get used to it you'll find it pretty natural and won't even realise you're doing it.
