But yes, spamming heals will get you squished pretty quickly if you're not careful. Especially if, like me, you pay more attention to your team members health bars than you own :)
That's a frequent occurance with me and my cleric.. "Err, you may want to heal yourself now." "Wh.. oh crap!"

I know that feeling as a blood mage as well! Also the fact that 1/2 of my heals also do dmg to myself does not help, really must remember to look at my hps a little more.

Hehe, I was merely questioning why it's "impossible" if it's apparently not

Don't think he was saying it was impossible in all games, but it is in Vanguard. The game UI isn't as flexible to mod as WoW is, so Jestar is right in saying its impossible to do in Vanguard.

Couple screenies from my venture into the goodie two shoes land. Graphics are on "High Performance" because of my poor gaming rig, so its far from the best it could be, its still very impressive, static screenshots can't really do it justice.

Wish i'd have took some of New Targonor and in the mountains around Bordinars Cleft, some great scenery up there!

Bottom one is of that damn annoying statue that got me killed. :o

Well given the game has only been released for a month, I'm not surprised not many know about them.

Oh wait, you're just e-peen waving. ;)

Not at all its a level 20ish zone im now 36 so it was long while ago i quested there.

I was trying to point out that theres a huge amount of people that expect to be spoon fed quest chains and are to dumb/lazy to go explore and find new zones with quests ;)

skrillian point can be seen by mousing over the map screen its not some omfgwtfpawnzor leet secret place lol :)

But most of the people on the continent run out of quests at donavons roost around lvl 20and end up just grinding inf mines -.-

Tho i might get the e-penis out later this week when i get subjegator :P 86dps *drool*

Its like a ghost time over here when i play, its rare i see another player when running around.

If you're on Frengrot on the Order side (good guys) then Qalia isn't really the place to be. Its the main continent for Shadow and most Orders move over to Thestra. There of course is still Order on Qalia, but nowhere near as much as on Thestra. :p

Kojan is more busy than Thestra tbh.

I'm on Qalia despite being a high elf from Order (noob spawn is in Thestra.) and my other char is a dwarf pally, also from thestra, is in Qalia too :p

I have a sorc in Kojan.

Just going off what I saw doing my continental crafting quest. :D

Had to travel all over Kojan and had to circle Thestra like 6 times to get it all done... what a pain in the rear quest line. Couldn't go 2 minutes without bumping into a lightie, good job I have the Halfling illusion spell and the vast majority of lighties are too dumb to realise! :p

Vanguard got a fairly damning review in latest edition of pc zone 45% oh deary me. (can post review if u want)

EDIT: review pics

I'm a bit stunned :(

It's like they reviewed it a month into the beta or something. It's got tons more depth than any of its competitors, the crafting and diplomacy are brilliant, and the world itself it absolutely gorgeous. Levelling is a lot slower than we've become used to, but you really don't mind when it's fun - my char is 15 now, almost entirely from quests. Whenever one aspect of it gets boring you just switch to doing something else for a while. The upside of the level grind is that it discourages the wow kiddies - I've met exactly one retard in all my time in the game, the community is generally fantastic.

It's also the only game as far as I know since SWG that allows houses and towns to be built in the game world. I love it to bits, mostly because it dares not to hold my hand and patronise me the whole time. Could do with a bit more of its attitude in the mmo world.

Edit - actually Horizons had in-world houses, but that's about all it had :p
