**The official Vanguard Thread**

livid grad. It's pretty much eq1. tbh I've not seen that much pvp, only the odd gank here and there or a mix up at a respawn point. pve is tasty though. There are 10day keys available, will see if I can wing one your way.

wurg plays too.

dont expect the 640 to go sub 200 in a while, nvidia are releasing a midrange remember, the ultra will only bring the GTX down to a reasonable level, its currently priced novelty after all, the 640 GTS isnt

depends on the prices of ATis offering, which is what im waiting for as currently there is no competition to the 8800 series, however when ATi releases its new cards there will be, and if the price is right, should induce some competitiveness and thus price reductions hopefully

april...my card will suffice till then and i dont get my next loan installment till then and i wasnt planning on an upgrade till after april anyway, my current system is still fine, but is showing severe signs of buckling under the pressure with games like supcom and vanguard, so its only gonna get worse as the year goes on hehe

of course this does depend on how my cash is flowing at the time

Deffo worth waiting for ATI if ** looking for a card to play VG on, ATI runs it a lot better.

im already running on an ati x1800gto...whilst not great it plays ok...defo need to sort out my cpu though...supcom absolutely thrashes my poor x2 3800...vanguard doesnt even have dual core support so thats moot point...problem is when i upgrade im gonna hve to get a new case as my lanboy cant even fit a x1950 in

Never played Lineage 2, so I couldn't compare. Levelling is slower than in many mmo's, but I've never had to go out and just grind levels so far. Quests give a lot more xp, and I always seem to have a huge list of them to choose from.

Judging by the level progression though, I imagine it could get pretty slow as you hit the 30's - 40's.

yep our 3700 1mb cache is much quicker than our x2 3800 dualcore in Vanguard :(

our super lanboy has had a 7900gto and 8800gts in

Woot, been playing up a Goblin Necromancer, and have decided they are much better than Warlocks in WoW (The game's better than WoW too, but I won't go into that :p ).

Why? The pet.... the bvasic thing before grafts or any such thing is much better looking than ANY warlock minion :)

how the hell

my 9.5" x1800gto is only an inch from my hdd rack in the superlanboy and the 8800s are 13" long if memory serves

oh and badger enjoy being a goblin...i think your abom should out grow you in height when all is said and done :p

Hi guys,

Well no matter what I do I can’t get in to many mmo’s  anymore I find that doing a massive grind trying to gain a level and walking to far sides of the earth on foot just does my nut in!!

So anyone have any guidance on where and what to play? Im on the infinium server at the moment.(Warrior) I guess the only way I can describe what gameplay I enjoy is by Oblivion even though that’s rpg , I loved being a vampire , having a horse middle way through the game, having nice armor. Does VG really meet up to this? Saying all this ive only gotten to level 7 as ive got bored quite quick :/ I think as I don’t know anyone playing VG anyone want to help me level etc? i might change my mind if i get good after level 10 or so :E i played Lineage 2 for a year and a bit so the grind for me is tedious

7 is easy to get to just off natural progression of quests...7-10 takes a bit of effort but generally you can find quests to get you there...at 10 you get your horse...which helps a fair amount in getting to the more popular grind areas for certain levels

consideing it is double points weekend I can hardly see anybody anywhere except my own friends  All the continents seems like ghost towns populated with NPC's.

When I joined Frengrot a couple weeks back it was high pop and I would see people everywhere I went but now I hardly see anybody and enemy players are even rarer :(
