I think we had the same last night, but fortunately we were too low for them. We were questing in a ~lvl19/20 area (all of us were/are lvl14) and some Orcs turned up, a warrior, paladin and a dread knight (that's what they appeared to be anyway.)

They looked around at us then left. They were lvl21+.
 
if they are too high they cant attack you unless you strike 1st....VERY handy when you are in an area doing the 12-14 quests but usually find 20+ers around hehe, groups of cl25s would stop and look at me...and then walk off...i thought i had bad breath or summin hehe
 
Bah, there was some goit of a monk running about today.

According to him, his best attack is feign death, because "It really pwns in a fair fight".

Does _anyone_ else consider a fair fight to be you versus whatever he can aggro before running back to you?

I'm talking 5-10 things I can't really solo that well... it's not a pretty sight. I got him a few times though, so screw him.

Anyone else seen "Limonade"? Muller him for me, would you?
 
hrmm tbh im not sure pvp on a mmorpg is for me. I like pvp in FPS but in a mmorpg? anyway rerolled another character on another server. I figured maybe the US servers will have better stability and support but i quickly realize after logging on to woefeather server that the ping just isnt workable (230 - 350) so re-rolled again on infineum pve server as a necromancer. A heckava lot easier soloing than a tank imo. I think also ping doesnt bother me as much because im not up close to the enemy i just send my minions to fight for me :D
Maybe ill do at least 2 characters 1 on a pve server and one on a pvp server. One worry with Infineum server is that is support for the EU servers as good as they are for the US servers ? (i mean hardware server support)

I'll probably try all the character classes up to lvl 10 to find one which i like best.

p.s. i had totally forgot about the RECALL command which would have got me out of my earlier stuck situation i think :o
 
PvP with a good pop provides variety, fighting an not so predictable oponent etc

PvE is great 1st time through a dungeon or whatever...but after 3 or so runs it gets just a little repetitive

Infinium is a EU PvE server and the pings have dropped to 120-150 in the last week. They used to be 350-400, also the language appears to be mainly English.
 
Christ almight, Paladin's are hardcore!

Started a dwarf pally last night.. I was solo-tanking 3 level 10 3dot mobs whilst only level5! Just not enough damage to kill them. Good thing it was only a quest to fetch some items :p


Still looking for a guild on Frengrot!
 
Am i the only shadow on thestra? Thinking of somehow going to Qalia since its impossible to find a group. Still lvl14, havent played for a few days.

ehh? what quest is this? because usually the npcs dont give you a quest which is way above your level (ie red shield above npc head means you cant do the quest they have and they wont give it to you) i doubt they would give a lvl 5 player a quest to take on lvl 10 creatures

and 3 lvl 10 3 dots?.... screens please :D coz tbh its impossible...no way you can heal fast enough and still melee 3 of them.

unless of course....he is your alt... and twinked? (ie your other character sending him money/gear)
 
He is my alt, not twinked. No screens.

It involved healing myself, lots. Also used racial buff which gives 80% resists for 60seconds (tuens himself into stone - also immune to debuffs and root/snare/etc.). It was a group quest, gwatarok something or other, which I decided to go for solo as I was breezing through all the other quests with absolute ease.

Like I say though, I couldn't kill them - they were healing themselves too quicky for that.

as with jenk, ive just made a Dread Knight, slightly twinked by sending a good sword from another character but thats all. but the damage and the de-buff's are awesome.

Very funny night , we stayed chicken form for a good ten minutes , all u could here while fighting mobs was "cluck cluck" lmao

Wish they'd patch the game already. :/

My guild has a little town going on an island in Qalia, but the Qalian house builder quest is bugged, so I can't start work on it!

ehh?

"For 60 seconds, this ability will turn your body to stone. Along with removing all poison effects, you will mitigate 25% damage and become immune to movement impairing spells such as knock back, stun, and snare. Recast is 30 minutes."

Thats the dwarf buff. Mitigates 25% of the damage done to you. So how is it 80% resistance? Basically they do 75% damage instead of 100% damage to you no? So you're on 25% resistance. Unless ive misunderstood it :o

and you couldnt kill them but they couldnt kill you??? Well thats strange as well if 3 of them are melee-ing you. It takes time to cast Healing Touch
and doesnt it get interrupted if you get hit? What are the creatures called? Sounds like quite an easy quest if you can survive 3 of them just by healing every so often..... but wait a minute ..... you say you couldnt kill them but you survived??? How did you escape then? dont tell me you ran away???? :confused:


tbh still rather skeptical... you managed to survive without running away or recalling or whatever(i doubt you'd be able to run away from them unless they couldnt move)
