I think everyone knows how I feel about rumours, I thought that image was quite blatant! It's been kicking around on Twitter for a few days and it was the multi-coloured bit which made me chuckle the most

Search on UStream.. there's always someone streaming the keynote. Even if it's audio-only, but it's still on there.

Hopefully the new iPhone will have a better gps chipset as I've found the one in the 3g/3gs is adequate for Tomtom without the cradle. The ipad gps signal is meant to be very good so hopefully the new iPhone will contain something similar.

Its not technically that they cant - they just wont...
Tried ustream last time for the OS 4 launch and it was pretty rubbish - just kept stuttering and buffering

Have they ever said why? For a company so into building hype around their products it seems like an opportunity missed.

They used to go streaming, but the feed would get so saturated that it would frequently go down.
This was years ago, so although there's no technical reason why it's not possible nowadays, they do use the opportunity to edit out certain bits... pump up the applause etc
