Can someone tell me how to enable HDR on this card. I've tried both HL2 and Lost Coast and the HDR option remains greyed out on both! Anyone have any ideas?

Btw I'm using a Sapphire X1950Pro (256MB) with Windows XP and latest 7.6 ATi drivers.

Are you running FSAA?

I think HDR will not work if it is turned on in the CCC.

I've got AA and AF as 'Application Controlled'. Is that what you mean?

Any idea how fast HIS are on replacing cards? RMA'd my PCIe HIS x1950 pro 256mb card. OCUK sent it back to them on the 8th June and not a whisper since. Anyone else had a slow rma turnaround on the HIS card?

Oh it was a rev1 that took a couple extra months to die like the others

Cheers for reply. Tis a pain as I sold the base unit it was orginally part of (minus the card as it died the week I sold it!) so the buyer has been stuck with an old FX5200 pci card for the last 3 weeks (nearly) which doesn't exactly equate to much of a substitute to an x1950 in a (sold as c2d) gaming rig :rolleyes:

So, can anyone tell me why my sapphire X1950pro will not overclock even 1mhz over 580 ???????

Plenty of power going to it all and the latest drivers etc.....

Anyone.........

Ok something I noticed in the Lost Coast demo has confused me even more.

In the Options menu, under adbanced Video menu, the software directx shows as v9.0, however the hardware directx shows up as v8.1 and is greyed out!

I know this card is DX9 so why is it coming up as DX8.1? :confused:

Problem solved, I was running the secondary adaptor instead of the primary for some reason. Switched to primary and everything is working now!

my card has just been sent to Connect3D by OcUK.

anyone any idea if the 28days will be in fact 28days cause i have no computer now, stuck using WAP with opera Mini :mad:

2 quick questions, is anyone having problem overclocking the Pro's with anything after the 6.11 cat release? The screen repeatedly flickers.

Does the Thermalright HR-03 fit the 256MB Pro ok (sapphire in my case)? Or do you need to put on some spacers?

been looking a bit deeper into it, Connect3d have been bought up by someone else but my RMA is bene handled by a 3rd party for Connect3D/XFX so am hoping it will be infact the 28days,

Get the 7.6 cat's that have just been released.......

They worked for me......

ATI overdrive now reports:

Core - 621Mhz

memory - 796Mhz

Get 'em downloaded, you know it makes sense.
