Subnautica added to Game Pass....been waiting ages to play this :)

Oh, it's a goody. I dismissed it for ages thinking it look a bit naff when people were playing it on Twitch but when they gave it away free on Epic last year, I tried it out and was hooked. It's excellent.

Got my xbox elite v2 controller coming in a couple days, reviews looking good

anyone else pre order?

I pre-ordered and got it on day of release.

Somehow they have made the Elite v2 look a lot less elite, to me it looks and feels cheap so pretty disappointed.

The top shoulder buttons are better and there is improvement with the tension on thumbstick etc but I'm struggling to get on with this new V2 it just don't feel right to me.

And also it comes with a stupid choice of thumbsticks, I used to like the medium length convex ones but they don't come with this and you can't use the old ones on the new controller.

Not worth the upgrade imo unless you really must have it, probably worth holding out until the new xbox next year.

I came from a normal controlled to the elite, never bothered with the first elite cause it wasn't wireless.

so this is my first elite and it's a beast, the best controller I've ever used

I like everything but grips, making it less expensive felling in my hands compared to older model.

That was the thing that surprised me most, felt like something from a cheap 3rd party controller.

I played some overwatch last night just to try it out some more, started to get used to it but certainly doesn't feel like a premium controller like the that first one did.

The soft grips would often fall off the original pad.

It's a shame that they don't have gyro controls. It's horrible to play FPS games without them now.

it's better then standard Xbox controller, just not same level has elite v1

Hope it can withstand test of time.

Other then that it's better in every way.

Edit: internal battery, i always like a option.

I think it's a step backwards in terms of materials and battery. If the Elite V1 is supported on the next XBox (not very likely) I'll be sticking with that as my launch version is still perfect.
