I have changed my mind about the full game first, i think ill get the demo first as i bore easily with games so the demo may be enough for me i duno. Least will give me the thought if i like and enjoy it enough that i think ill play it more than a hour or two then never play it again etc.

Btw in the game with telekinisis, do you think it will work on the big daddys like most of everything else as in pickup and throw. Do you think the little sister will be as well, as i have a evil plan of pickin the sister up and throwing her at the daddy mwhahaha. :D

i want to know if the game would allow me to spray that pheremone crap on the little sister and have everyone else batter the crap out of her.

Buying it on Steam is pointless at the price, it should be cheaper for lack of the disc/manual and box.

no one saw that coming? More expensive digital version rather than hardcopy version lol.... this was my first concern about Steam literally AEONS ago.

Well Half Life 2 packages were done really well I thought, would've expected better pricing on this though I mean you don't even get anything extra unlike HL2.

Got to say for many older games Steam is brilliant, I got HL2 Ep 1 the other night, it was only a fiver and it came with HL1 DM. Not much use to me I know, but for a fiver and the convenience you can't knock it.

Some of the titles from new publishers (to steam that is) do have quite ridiculous prices. Prey can be had new for £5 from Jersey but on Steam it's way more expensive. I don't know how the publishers influence price on Steam but that's a bit crazy.

Also someone further up said was it worth paying for it on Steam to have it on their games list. I'd justl ike to point out that Steam lets you add a shortcut on your list to any game you have installed.

I don't believe there will be any major differences in visual quality between directX 9 and directX 10. Most likely only a slight performance increase. Unreal Engine 3 is based around Direct X 9 afterall. I'm pretty sure most of the screenshots we have seen are DirectX 9.

Ohh nice, I didn't actually know you could that, is it a fairly new feature?.

I'm not too sure. I was just looking the other day and noticed it, I think it's under the game menu at the top, something like "Add non-Steam game to list" iirc.

Do any of these online reviews (I can't read games sites at work because of a firewall) suggest how long the game takes to play through? I'm hoping for closer to 20 hours than 10 hours.

Guy from 1UP said he can easily see people doing over 30, I think anyway, something like that.

It's definately at least 20 hours unless you rush through ignoring everything, but why would you.

Many reviewers also stated it's very re-playable :).

I tend not to go back to games once I've completed them (e.g. Deus Ex is one of my favourite games of all time, but I didn't replay it), but take care to pick up as much of the content as I can on the journey. In the region of 20 hours sounds good to me though :D

I rekon the multiplayer will be good aswell, it does have multiplayer right?
Nope, Ken hinted at that for BioShock 2, though that was said rather loosely, he even mentioned BioShock 3 but then said lets not get too far ahead of ourselves.
