Honestly, I think you'll have performance issues as the game seams to force DirectX10 if its available & an 8600 may struggle doing DX10 at good speeds, nice CPU, RAM though. A bit naff really, as an 8600 in a laptop is good.

Glad I did'nt bother keeping that running then, Im pretty sure the torrent files are from fileplanet so hopefully there 100% the real deal and unlocked.

Yeah reading the comments on the torrent it is decrypted and working, so they say.

The GPU can get a score of around 3600 in 3D Mark 06. Don't know how good that is and how it relates to actual gaming though. :o
 
I'm just going to wait for tonight. I cba with the bit torrent download - it's crawling atm. People are probably setting the upload to like 1kb/s and just leeching...

No it isn't. There was one demo around 800mb that was proven to be fake - but the others are most definately real.

I'm just ****ed i paid a months sub to fileplanet to download the demo.I technically have the demo on my pc right now, just waiting for a stupid code.

I know Fileplanet suck, but please refrain from swearing, that's the second time today!

i think the torrents and the two links above i posted are the real deal, it's definitely out there somewhere as there are loads of screenies and talk of performance. The one on some guys ftp site that's supposedly compressed to 800mb is deffo a fake though.


edit: btw my torrent is limited to upload at 96KB/s and will be running until I get home around 7pm. :-)
 
I have installed the demo (from somewhere I can't mention.....zip file is the unencrypted one) and can confirm that IT´S WORKING great!!!!!!!
