The one and only signature creation thread

Hi all. This looks like its being going on for years in here!

I had a stab at a sig, but as you can see, its a bit rubbish.

Could any kind folk help a newbie to get a decent sig set up?

Similar images, something surfy, don't mind if the 'oxbow' logo isnt used, but some radical font would be appreciated

Oxbow, it might be worth taking your current sig off, as it stands, its against the rules, and the mods will sting you for it.
Rule is 400x75@20Kb.

Oooo, good spot!

odd tho as Photoshop picks it up at 15kb!

Wonder why VB adds to it...............any ideas?

I have a question, dont know if anyone here can answer it but probably.

Anyway, say I have a image thats 800x600, how would I make it sig size in PS without it loosing quality or warping? so how could I make it 400x75 and still look like similar proportions to 800x600

Does that make sense?
 
using 'maintain aspect ratio' you could keep the picture quality, but the size would be 400x300.
so you would loose out on 225px of the picture for use in the sig

Can somebody please do me a new sig, with a cool background that incorporates the Abit Fatality Logo Here please. My Spec has changed from sig and is now as follows:

AMD Opteron 144 @2.4GHZ With Artctic Cooler 64
Abit Fatal1ty AN8 Motherboard
1GB (2x512MB) GEIL Value Ram
2x250 GB Western Digital WD2500KS SATA II Drives
1x120 GB Maxtor Hard Drive (PATA)
1x80 GB Western Digital Drive (PATA)
OCZ Modstream 520 PSU

If possible could you also e-mail me the sig with the layers still accessible so that I can change the spec in the future.
