Audi , General Motors, Ford quitting - not much conflict of interest with Tesla. (lets understand their customer demographics and marketting success/strategy to help sell M3)

Pfizer also pulled out, I'm sure they have no deals with the Democrats, Big Pharma doesn't meddle in Politics

Having run a business where you have a very direct line with thousands of customers I reckon that a lot of these businesses are using this as an excuse to cut that line and have a more peaceful existence rather than in any sort of actual moral protest.

I noticed there are people on Twitter claiming they are going to leave the site. Then I googled the post and it seems to be a mass copy/paste exercise.

Many tick accounts are posting it.

Whether people like it or loathe it, if you want access online outside your bubble then its Twitter. So far no other big website does that.

I don’t think many will leave at all. Bit like all the people who said they’d leave the UK if Brexit happened.

Storm in a teacup.

He suggested independent voters vote Republican on the basis that the Presidency is held by a Democrat.

Did he say people should vote Republican? Yes or no? Now he can say what ever he likes but at this time he has made himself the face and voice of Twitter. Maybe he should have refrained from diving into the election until he's stepped back and got a CEO in and isn't running the company on a day to day basis. If he wants Twitter to seem politically neutral that is.

Re: 'Big Pharma'

America is completely ****** up anyway. I watched 'The Good Nurse' on Netflix the other day and that deals with corporate negligence, police interference (The District Attorney being on the board of a hospital) and issues with staff and health care/insurance.

Not sure if that's sarcasm or ignorance

Pharma Spending: The Pharmaceutical Industry Has Spent More Than $100 Million On Lobbying In 2022. According to OpenSecrets, the pharmaceutical industry has spent $101 million lobbying on behalf of 483 clients in 2022, fighting Democratic efforts to rein in prescription drug costs.
