The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

These are quite likely some of the same people who announced they were moving to Canada when Trump became POTUS 45.

I suspect they stayed then and they’ll be staying now.
Aye. I suspect so too. Just along with those that are preparing for war. All a load of words, though its slightly different as these guys words are usually things like "ill take the capitol, hang Mike pence, buy guns, stand by and stand ready" etc, but it was always just a load of little boys throwing their toys out their pram, unable to deal with the reality that trump lost.

Pfizer pulled out of advertisements on Twitter and Elon Musk said to vote Republican, Cognitive Dissonance is terrible eh
It also rained yesterday. Today it's a clearer day. Mostly sunny. Thanks obama!

The funny thing is, what you're actually pointing out is that Elon only said vote Democrat as pzfier pulled out, given that pzfier pulled out ages ago, and Elon only tweeted that yesterday. The only connection you can make between the 2 (and it'd be wrong to make a connection but hey ho here you are defending daddy elon, again), is that because pzfier pulled out a week ago, Elon said vote Dems.

But that's not what you're saying is it. You're saying "daddy elon said vote Democrats, and then pzfier said OK I'll pull out" but this requires being ignorant to the dates of when this happened.

Waffle waffle. He has told people to vote Republican. Why he said it is irrelevant.

He told *some* people (independents) to vote Republican, for a particular reason... the reason is important because according to that reason the advice would be reversed to advise those same people to vote democrat in the midterms if there were a Republican president.

Ignoring that context is just misleading...

All people take away from his statement is Elon says vote Republican.

False, just learn to read...

All the headlines from news outlets and journalists on Twitter are, Elon says vote Republican.

That some headlines are misleading doesn't negate the point that you posting it like that is also misleading/lacks context... publications love clicks/hype and will often only put in the context in the article. You omitted it completely and have then doubled down on it after it's been pointed out.

Now you can make all the excuses you like, you can post graphs on how people donate, none of them have the voice Musk does at this time.

I'm not making excuses I'm pointing out that if you're worried about the independence of the platform then that might have been a bigger worry than your concern about optics because of some misleading headlines...

Clearly it is, you seem to be a terminal case.

those figures don't back up your conclusions.

Story from 4 days ago on companies including Pfizer pulling out of Twitter advertising.

You can argue this all night long (and you will) context is irrelevant here. What everyone apart from you has taken away from this is Musk saying vote Republican. His excuse for saying it is he thinks split government is better. Better for who? Better for him? Better for independent voters? Nothing gets done with spilt government so who is the winner here?

More gas lighting from the passive aggressive skinny arm crew
the right really need to get better at their insults. i almost feel pity for you that this is what you decided was worthy of posting.

i also feel pity that you're questioning your own reality because i asked whether you understand how dates work. other users have also posted it but i imagine you can't bring yourself to reply to that point as you just makes you look, well, silly.

I don't wish for you to question your own sanity, memories, or perception of reality, as there's is no question that needs to be asked when we know the answer already.

you think that an event that happened on 01/11 (pzfier pulling their advertising) happened because of a post that happened on 07/11 (elon saying vote republican), and you think that because it makes daddy elon look better.

that's no question of the reality of that. we know the answer.

Is that the first time Elon has openly suggested he supports the Republican party?

Oh wait, he said it way back in May. Get back in your box please

Mastodon?

What's the deal with this? It's it just like irc?

yes I was wondering what we-chat was like, too - elon already praised/aspired to it; if it gets a usa sponsor like tik-tok it could prove the natural successor.
but looks like we-chat requiures authentification with a telphone number, and has no capability to browse discussion topics w/o logging on ( like twitter in a browser tab,)
you have to install a windows/android we-chat program - those Chinese.
e: eg How to Find and Follow WeChat Official Accounts!
