The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

I'm not team Republican, why would you think that? I'm not obsessing over American Politicans, it doesn't consume very much of my thoughts. I've checked the results on BBC news a couple of times today and yesterday combined, that's it. Plus Trump and Biden aren't on the cards.
I don't think you are either.

But you did also suggest the BBC live reporting was a "Democrat propaganda piece" a few days ago, which I found very strange:
Yeah cheers if i want to read a Democrat propaganda piece I'll go straight to CNN.com

I wonder how many 'conditions' he has?

Sometimes it's like he has some sort of ultra ADHD thing.
He has the condition of being the richest man in the world. I can't blame him for letting it get to his head. But it most certainly seems to have.

The stupid thing is, he's just fired half the staff. Why not pm bring this condition in again that people must work at the office, let some of them quit, and then fire the rest until you get to the number you want left.

Instead he gets to the number he wants left, and then brings a condition that will lead to some leaving. Then, when the remainder are super over worked, they stsrt to leave too.

Madness I tell you.

You do realise a lot of companies don't let their employees work from home? This is only news because it's Elon Musk. I personally work from home but I get there are down sides.

You're also not the richest man in the world, nor have you just spent £lol on a company through a long-ass drawn out dumpster fire of a deal and ruined thousands of peoples' income right before Christmas so yes, it's news and we like to discuss it.

If that's a problem for you then maybe ask Daddy Musk to get the bullies on the internet to leave you alone.

This company did let their employees work from home until loonytunes bought it and started sacking everybody.
Tbh I'd be bailing simply because it doesn't look like it's got much of a future with Musk in charge.
Twitter is just his new toy.

Well except that apparently Twitter has been largely work from home for years (before covid), and their employment contracts don't require them to go into the offices and it's unlikely they have the office facilities for everyone to go in...

Same way apparently Twitter employment contracts have unlimited paid time off (that is usually not used much), so if the staff decide to use what their contracts allow Musk is in a bit of trouble, especially as he's got rid of so many of the staff that those who are left are being expected to do stupid hours.

Musk really doesn't seem to understand the idea of contracts, let alone employment contracts and accepted working practices which are things you can't just change with no notice.
