The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

Has someone done a comparison of Weibo architecture against twitter - videos of weibo use make it look buttery smooth, comparing resources both use wouldn't be rocket science,
it's 50% bigger for monthly and daily users
 
I saw a post on Twitter questioning if the algorithm had changed and was pushing more right wing content now. The suggestions of who to follow and pushed tweets. So I had a look at suggested follows and I'm now wondering if they are right. Why its suggesting so many right wing figures to me is a mystery. And Darren Grimes is all over my Twitter if I'm not using lists, I've no idea why it thinks I want to read that douche bag.

Well, OBrien at least (in the last screenshot) is a good follow for Ukraine stuff, not sure why he's getting suggested so many lunatics though. Are you one of the people who regularly post angry rants in reply to politicians & journalists Colonel?

These are my suggested follows, it's a mixture of tech stuff and some crypto and Ukraine stuff given I've been following those two topics recently... if I'd checked last year it would have mostly been public health types and epidemiologists etc..

Objectively slur words declined over last couple of weeks, but, making him a pariah seems popular

I follow a lot of journalists, few politicians and don't tweet much. I do use it more for news than anything else. There is no reason it should be pushing that many right wing figures at me.

This is why transparency is key..

The left said it was baseless and implied CT when the right claimed they saw far too much left wing stuff being pushed.. so are you sure you aren't just being paranoid?

Or maybe you are just a closet conservative and it's found you out ;)

Our directors have been told to have focus days, with focus days, and hours in various gym sessions, webinars, meeting people who have nothing to do with our business, there's no wonder nothing gets done.

My take, you lead by example, same with our politicians who are leading the country. I'll happily follow. My focus day yesterday was awesome lol

Just to follow on, I've checked mine, I have the merest presence on Twitter.. I read, I don't tweet..

So if a very apolitical person who doesn't involve themselves in political/media dross gets CNN and Biden pushed in the suggestions, what on earth are you doing to get right wing stuff showing up?

I'm sticking with the assertion that the AI algorithm for your suggestions has unearthed your guilty secret of loving conservatives.. it all makes sense now "Thou doth protest too much"..
