The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

Obviously people will want to find coping mechanisms, but it is a bit silly to compare something that was 80 years ago, to something that happened today. I assume those people buy British products? Or are we supposed to compare the current issues with twitter to what the evil things the British empire did 200 years ago?

It's telling that as a defense of the current issues for twitter/Tesla, they bring up something from 80 years ago.

Buyers "I don't want to buy something that currently allows white supremecy to spread"

Stupid people "yeah but 80 years ago x company was funded by Nazi"

Buyers "is it still?"

Stupid people "well no but but but"

Woman returns car built by company she believes was founded by a Nazi.

Buys car from company that was actually founded by actual Nazis.

You do see the irony?

Citation?

That's not what I saw but perhaps missed it as I am not a big tweeter. Absolutely no where can I see them saying they think Tesla was founded by nazis

Edit: also, blood emeralds are Elon's history right :p

British people crowing about other people's past ignomies is the epitome of self reflection failure. Guess who did it?
Exactly.

Are VW doing Nazi stuff now? Are they siding with right wingers? Are they posting CT stuff about democrates?

It's not that, terminal thinks she's saying she thought Tesla was founded by a Nazi (something so far is made up entirely in his head).

She is a bit cringe but opinions can change over a period of 4 years. Musk was definitely less controversial 4 years ago, him becoming a wum/troll on social media is relatively new and given she is a bit of a reactionary it's not that surprising. Surely it would be worse for her to continue to criticise him whilst driving a Tesla ? Why she had to advertise she was changing car i don't know... just do it, no need to tell everyone for pats on the back.

On a side note, imagine being so utterly riddled with culture war nonsense that your social media handle is @stillunwoke. Well done love, do you want a medal ?

That crazy woman above is crazy..
It's amazing to see people so sycophantic about Musk suddenly cry the moment he takes over Twitter..

He hasn't changed.. I didn't rate him before, and I don't rate him now..
Lol sounds like she's after some of that horse money.

What a weird set of posts from her. Got to be more to it.

She's a has been actress, so suspect there's something else to it all

Well, she's basically an ' emotional extremist', but changing your opinion on something over a period of years as things change, especially when that something is Elon Musk, should be applauded and not derided. If more people were able to do so, the world would be a better place.

Yeah I forgot Britain was the only socially acceptable country for you guys to criticise, woke Germany gets a free pass for WW2 and we should all feel sorry for them, whereas the English should feel inhuman levels of guilt for the British Empire which basically killed itself off fighting the Nazis.
