The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

Pretty sure that VW were at the heart of the emissions scandal that should have seen a lot of people locked up so I don't think even in recent time VW can be a car manufacturer for anyone trying to make a moral statement.

Yeah I forgot Britain was the only socially acceptable country for you guys to criticise, woke Germany gets a free pass for WW2 and we should all feel sorry for them, whereas the English should feel inhuman levels of guilt for the British Empire which basically killed itself off fighting the Nazis.
Way to totally misunderstand the point, but it's you, so that was either intentional or something else.

Hint: no one cares about the history of a country/company from 80 odd years ago, other than the Elon simps trying to defend Elon.

What people care about is right now.

Those that bring up a defence "well I know we are now associated with nazis, but VW was 80 years ago" are total losers as they know they can't find another way to shift the issue for poor Elon

Does anyone take Alyssa Milano seriously? The woman is smoking hot but she's bat **** crazy, wasn't she virtue signaling wearing a knitted mask when the rona was at its height..?

Been 9 days since that Tweet? Guess it was was copium from somebody salty that they cant sit on a beanbag chugging soy lattes all day for a living
Or things changed, IIRC musk rehired some people, and then basically forced the rmaining ones to work ungodly hours whilst stopping most ongoing improvement projects.

Also "about a week" isn't a definite timeline.

It's funny seeing so many people buying into the line that the twitter employees were basically doing nothing just because that's what musk has said, same way they're not understanding how many of the "wasteful" benefits the staff enjoyed were not really for the sake of the staff, but because it was needed (things like the childcare Musk cut makes a huge difference if you're got employees who have families, as does things like having food and other facilities on site as it means your staff can spend more time on the site before needing to leave for basic stuff).

Wait. The person that held their baby in his arms in its last seconds on earth who kept the ban on Alex Jones due to that has stopped Twitter childcare?

Oh no that first bit about holding his baby was a lie so yeah not unexpected.

Looks really taxing, I can't fathom why they were haemorrhaging money.

Nah, she only looked pretty 20 years ago, then she decided to inject copious amounts of plastic surgery and now she looks like she set the air pressure too high

If that's the video I think it is, then it always amuses me when people use it to make out nobody did anything at twitter.

As if you are going to make a video like that showing you sitting at your desk coding away.

The only difference here is that Elon is louder, all these CEO's are the same awful class of people.

Thats why I find all the virtue signalling from these massive multi-nationals extra awful, especially when people buy into it. They are all scumbags or they wouldn't be where they are. Their job is to make as much money as possible. Any good they do will almost be guaranteed to be coincidentally aligned with "doing the right thing".

Volkswagen probably got nazi connections like most the massive German companies who seem to have made all their money during ww2

quick google
On May 26, 1938, Nazi dignitaries gathered near Fallersleben in northern Germany to lay the foundation stone for the Volkswagen Works. The Führer himself was present, predicting that this Volkswagen, initially known as the Kraft-durch-Freude-Wagen, or KdF-Wagen, would be “a symbol of the National Socialist people's community."
and there we have it
