The point being is that your fanboism isn't letting you see that you're just going "wow big number is big so therefore they must be doing better than before" with no idea or proof of what happened before.
You hear the other week about this huge network that was taken down and police were messaging victims? You can see that in one day, and go "wow, police now take down 1 million websites in 1 day, but in the last 6 months they took down just 10k, police are so much better now" and not realise how simple that makes you look.
Do you need that spoon fed to you too? I can pretend it's an airplane if that helps?

The more he tweets the more I'm convinced its just snake oil. Salesman's noise meant to sound amazing and enthral the audience to be taken in by it all. Its the same crap he's been saying for a decade in regards to self driving cars/trucks, landing on Mars, solar tiles, hyperloop, boring company. The one thing he's actually done is land rockets and fair play that is amazing. Even Starlink is old tech, he just owns a rocket company so launching them is cheap enough to make it viable, unlike for all the others that have tried it. Once Bezos gets his rocket flying Amazon will have their own constellation of satellites.

No they aren't. You have to have your hands on the steering wheel at all times because they tend to do things like crash or run people over. He said in 2016 they could drive safer than a human then but they still can't till this day. Have you not seen enough video of them crashing or just doing stupid ****. Yes I know humans do stupid **** in cars but we aren't a computer who's job is to drive safely from one point to another.
My criticism is that he talks a lot of guff. Promises the world but delivers less than minimum. Take away carbon credits and Tesla still hasn't made a profit. Hyperloop should be renamed Hyperflop or Hypercon is probably more accurate. Same for solar tiles, same for Boring Company. SpaceX is his one big success but even that was done with government money but as I said, landing rockets is cool as **** and I love SpaceX.
That tweet just seems to sum him up. Its nonsense, a word salad that Elon bros lap up.

He paid that much due to being the richest man on earth, not because of any other reason. This isn't anyone else richer to be more stupid with their money.

They are self driving. I've ridden in one. You can find plenty of videos on YouTube that show people sitting in the driver's seat while the car drives itself. This guy doesn't even touch the steering wheel once:

I used to respect him and avoided watching any content that criticised him, mainly because I am such a SpaceX fan but once your eyes have been opened you can't go back. He isn't quite Elizabeth Holmes but he's been promising things for years and not delivering them. I'm amazed the SEC hasn't been more on his case with Tesla considering how much he's promised year after year when he knew it wasn't coming any time soon. Promising the market products that you can't deliver that push up share price is illegal and certainly un-ethical.

I would argue the opposite, they have a moral obligation not to roll out any software they know isn't perfect because it could cost lives. No surprise its illegal to use it in the UK.

Ok self driving safely. That is the point right? That they can drive the car safer than you and not make mistakes. That clearly isn't the case even though Elon has been saying for years that it can. There are no shortage of videos of Tesla crashing when people have let them self drive.
and he does touch the wheel several times as he's clearly concerned in that moment.
