The ongoing Elon Twitter saga: "insert demographic" melts down

All ther lines were drawn by some dudes, mainly European, on a map. The point is he'd likely care about it. I imagine Roar wouldn't be happy to just hand the Falklands over to Argentina and would be raging at anyone who suggested we should just hand them over and be pragmatic. There is no defence of Elon's take on Ukraine or Taiwan for that matter.

Falklands war isn't anywhere near the same, we didn't get funded in the trillions by other countries working people for one.

I think the difference would be if South America banded together and invaded the Falklands with 20,000 men, likely we'd have to give up that territory. You seem to be confused again though, I don't think Ukraine should give up it's territory, I've simply explained Elon's position to you. He doesn't want Ukraine to give up it's territory, he simply sees that to unfortunately be the likely outcome. He is actively supporting Ukraine with his personal wealth. How much of Joe Biden's personal wealth has been donated to Ukraine do we think?

Patently false mate.

It's the same platform with some very minor changes. It's also more popular than ever.

How anyone can conclude Twitter is more popular or doing better since Elon took over is clearly insane.

His fans are really a very odd bunch of people.
Insane isn't strong enough of a word.

It's someone that isn't coping and is lying to themselves about reality.

"all that's happened is that it's more popular"

Said by someone with 600 odd posts in this thread, so in no way can they claim ignorance in the subject.

There's only one conclusion you can make when someone claims that.

While the rest of the users can see the obvious issues and the issues that will present them self as time goes on, for instance, not being able to pay this bills in 6 months time as the money has run out and clearly no new money is coming in.

Twitter brand has become far more toxic than it ever has thanks to Elon. That's a major issue for twitter alone, on top of all the other issues Elon has caused.

I like how Elon says to be the CEO of twitter would be a fool, as though anyone that is ceo of twitter will have the same issues he has faced, and that it's not entirely his fault.

You only have to look back at any of the CEO that have been at Twitter to realise just how untrue that is.

Elon is the issue for twitter. Even when Saudi tell him to leave as he's the problem, he agrees to go and still blames the users and not himself for the problems he's faced.

And what's so silly about this whole thing, Elon has always had the ability to improve twitter, but it's his denial of reality that's stopping him from making the right decisions. As he continues to deny the truth, he will continue to make the wrong decisions.

He doesn't want Ukraine to give up it's territory
Nowhere has he actually stated that. Unless there's some tweets I haven't seen. The only ones I've seen are him suggesting they should give up territory and him justifying his opinion as it being the pragmatic choice. Has he explicitly said he doesn't want Ukraine to have to give up the stolen territories?

Of course there is corruption. I'm sure there is corruption in the UK defence industry.

As long as the corruption is their favour it's going to remain.

I am reminded of a case where the director of martin baker, maker of ejection seats across the world admitted fault for a red arrows pilot dying when their ejection seat didn't eject and took a fine of about 1.5m.

He did that because the actual party at fault was the MoD who had been sabotaging the function of the seats for decades. Also their largest customer. So martin baker took the heat and business continued.

You're no better

i disagree, it's not that bad pointing out and laughing at someone when they talk about arm/penis size

But I have no issue to be compared with other users. It's like ckent would say, he's the balance. I am clearly the batman, he's the joke...r :p

But there is a difference though. All this time I'm posting in this thread, for the most part it's joyful and funny seeing the ribbing and banter. However the one that I'm "just as bad as" isn't coping that well.

He's telling users in this thread "don't **** quote me!", "it doesn't ****** matter Tony" on top of all the other posts that are funny, when the user endlessly defends the billionaire elon on one day, and Elon then spreads his eggs on their face the next by contradicting them etc.

This person clearly isn't doing too well mentally :( imagine to wake up and be like "I'm going to tell a user to f off for quoting me, and then boast about saving peoples lives with made up stories, and then moan that users, on a Saturday, aren't working.

Any way, this is getting off topic from Elon. This will be seen as being really bad by some users, but others can laugh at this stuff. If that makes me worse, so be it :D

When he started banning opposing journalists, it has become clear he is in denial.

No other CEO has managed to destroy Twitter as Elon has, the idea that anyone else would be in the same position is clearly nonsense - and put across by his weird fans in this thread who think a billionaire needs defending. Twitter was doing just fine prior to him taking over.

If anyone can point to a single good decision he has made, let's hear it.

They will say removing illegal images as one example (remember everyone not to mention what it actually was as it causes issues for this forum having those words associated here), while that ignore that it is still supposably as accessible as ever in the site and there hasn't since a big removal other than that 1 event.

Other than that, what else could there be?

He's made it faster according to elon and then the fans repeat that too, as though speed of twitter was ever an issue for them until Elon told them it was one.

He's trolled Democrat politicians, that appeased a weird type on here.

Twitter has been inaccessible more times since he took over - that's anecdotal but is my experience.

He took away verification, brought it back, took it away again and then brought it back. Amazing move.

He removed journalists himself which he said he wouldn't do.

This is literally Trump all over again, everyone said he'd be rubbish, he would do dodgy **** and that is exactly what has happened. Elon is literally the most unsuitable man to own Twitter.
