I guess the data BBC has must be all false and twitter will no sue for slander? Given twitter put out unverifiable data saying how amazing they are. I wonder if Elon has borrowed trumps marker that Trump used to explain where the storm was going to hit :p

what are you twtting on about?

Most of "those" users have expressed a lot of real concern over protecting children, and pointed out that the way you protect children isn't to get rid of most/all of the people whose job it was to do that, and the teams that used to co-ordinate protection with local law enforcement agencies.
Last I heard Twitter basically no longer had a dedicated team to fight child exploitation, and had got rid of most of it's moderation staff, including entire "local" teams meaning that there is no one at Twitter who actually speaks the language in many parts of the world where Twitter is both popular and there is a major problem with child exploitation (meaning there is in many cases no one who can actually read complaints/understand nuance in the wording).
 
i know elon fan bois want elon to continue down the route he's taken because it fights the make beleive purple haired monsters, but it is a shame to see the below, as you can't help but feel elon has been distracted and also damaged the brand of not just elon, but tesla too, with his latest twitter antics.

i feel looking at this, tesla is foolish to think it's just because of a global recession, but in fact the bigger issue is that tesla isn't being innovative enough and resting on their laurels, expecting fan bois to continue purchasing while other manufacturers catch up and over take them.

go back 5 years, tesla was the only electric car on the road. now, it's the only electric car i don't notice on the road. so many beautiful electric cars out and about now, with them hitting pretty much every price point and quality, where does tesla sit in that? it's no longer the electric car you buy when wanting to buy electric, if you say to someone "i'm buying an electric car next week", no longer is the response, "cool you're getting a tesla", but instead, "which one?"

i hope elon can give up this twitter rubbish soon, get an actual ceo to take over, and go back to better more important issues that tesla faces ahead. this may upset the fan bois, and say i have hate in my heart all you want to justify your cry baby reactions, but deep down is a post that wants success at tesla, elon to do what he's best at, and twitter can be what it is going forward but without elons white pasty fingers all over it.

the links doesn't work. i can't see anything load (assume it's trying to show a preview) and the link disappears within a split second of the page loading.

if you catch the link within half a second of the page loading, this is the message you get.

Weird, I didn't know you needed a special API plan to click on twitter.com

Was it today Musk was planning to turn off/limit access to third party apps, or did he just pull a couple of cables at random on some important server.

This is the Elon Twitter thread isn't it?? Are you asking why I would post what Elon is tweeting about in the Elon Twitter thread Roar?

This is the man who has said on multiple occasions that he wants Twitter to be a source of truth, the source of truth even. So do you think he should be held to a higher standard after saying that and owning the platform or does he get a pass because he's a multi billionaire?

The other week roar moaned that we weren't posting what Elon tweets quick enough (Elon tweeted it 2 or 4 hours prior), now he moans that you do.

The point wasn't the content though, the point was so the roar could dismiss your point/post and that was how he justified it.

He post pretty much said "I'm dismissing what you've said, because you haven't shared other billionaires tweets"

I never said that. Twitter should have free speech, if you disagree with something posted there you can reply. You even highlighted the fact that some Dutch people corrected him, that's great and exactly how the platform should be used. Debate rather than censorship is what most of us who support Elon's vision for twitter want

and there he is again stating Twitter is the new source of truth. If that is so should he be supporting posts that aren't factual? You can't see the problem Road?

Elon Musk will actually be wrong sometimes on issues and he'll be corrected, that's okay, you don't need to get angry everytime it happens
