1 girl they didn't know was in the car until it was too late to go back.

Ah that must be why the manual shows the option and some videos show it being an option but others are saying its not an option.
I guess when your trapped in a car the last thing you want is a yellow cord saying "pull in emergency"
much bettter to have it hidden behind a speaker or whatever, the first place any passenger will look

Amusingly enough the IIHS just released the failing grades of a bunch of automated driving systems. Doesn't make pleasant reading for the Tesla FSD evangelicals - presumably Musk will be figuring out how to spin it all as fake news as we speak...
