surprised pikachu face :D

You just come across as childish swapping what i posted. You said that, not me.

do you want to go back and retry your post or just go with the "unwashed potatoes IQ is low post, win a few likes and move on"?

You're just engaging in obfuscation and talking about random things not connected to your original post. Go play those games somewhere else

Well, you kind of do in a serious way realistically. Sat on the coach watching Frozen while criticising Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos is pretty laughable actually. It's worse than the bloke down the pub shouting at Erling Halaand for missing a shot I would say.

That has to be the worst analogy ever, congrats. Just because you choose to be a parent for a while doesn't mean you can't criticise the amount the mega wealthy pay.
if they don't then you should look at the Policians. How ever I would say every penny Elon Musk gives to the US government is a waste of money given what they spend it on compared to him investing it into one of his companies.

haha are you looking for a lobbying job for billionaires? There are actually millionaire/billionaire groups who lobby for the mega wealthy to pay more tax.
I kind of just switch off when people criticise Elon Musk on here though, it's this weird irrational hatred that gets directed at certain people because it has been decided they're not morally righteous, and it's always based on just a public persona.

Do you? You seem to do a lot of defending of Elon when he is criticised, no matter what he is criticised for.
Elon Musk is allowed to post memes, he's allowed to have a political opinion, he's allowed to talk about crazy things, he's allowed to be wrong. You need to deal with that, he isn't elected, none of you are his boss, he will simply continue to do and say whatever the hell he wants.

Who said he wasn't? Why are you getting all defensive about Elon? He can do all of those things and he can be criticised when he says and does stupid things as well. Of course he will continue, when you reach that level of power and wealth you are pretty much immune from consequences.

It actually is listed as one of the reasons these "lazy bums" don't pay tax, because they see a billionaire pay £0 in tax some years, and then think why should they. Not to say that's the blanket rule across the board, but it contributes to the idea that poorer people have that why should they contribute to society by paying taxes when the richest people in the world don't.

Unless these "320,000 migrants" are granted American Citizenship, I fail to see how they are "importing voters" ?
I think you're having trouble with understanding how it's "importing voters" because you seem to have an understanding that you don't get to vote as an illegal immigrant.

About the most charitable view of the Maga/Musk fear mongering about "illegal voters" is that they're absolutely terrified that the people that are currently illegal immigrants will vote Democrat if they become citizens and eligible to vote, and the Republican party already know their traditional voter base is literally dying out and the younger crowd tend to hate many of their policies which is part of the reason they keep making it harder to vote (including shutting down polling stations at universities), and have been talking about "raising the voting age".

If republicans are so worried about brown migrants voting democrat, perhaps they should have been more supportive of Ukraine and taken in some of the 12 million white refugees

Let's check in on Twitterx, and see how it's thriving under Musk's wise leadership.

X, formerly known as Twitter, experienced a 30% drop in usage from 2023 to 2024, according to a study from Edison Research that clashes with favorable traffic metrics shared by the social media platform’s billionaire owner, Elon Musk, and CEO Linda Yaccarino.

The data, which is part of a larger study conducted by Edison, said 27% of the total population in the U.S. reported using X in 2022 and 2023, a figure that has decreased to 19% in 2024.

The data is a measure of people who said they were using the service, not a measure of premium X subscribers or accounts, Edison noted.

Edison said the social media platform also experienced declines in monthly and weekly usage, but didn’t provide details about such data.

Oh.

Do you think that Musk believes the disinformation that he spreads? It’s so easy to verify that the person in the photo was innocent.

It's been almost 2 years since Musk bought Twitter, and the media still refers to it as 'X, formerly known as Twitter.'

Just let that sink in. The new name is so bland, so forgettable, so lacking in presence, and so utterly divorced from the product to which it's attached, that they still have to say 'Twitter' to ensure people know what they're talking about.

It's hard to say, but I reckon he doesn't believe even half of it at best. He only does this for attention and engagement.

He also removes Community Notes that expose the lies he's sharing.

To me, this confirms he doesn't believe it. He just wants people to read the lie and get angry enough to engage.

Hate clicks might drive traffic but it will never bring back advertisers.

It’s sad to see what has become of Twitter/X. You’re right - it’s no better than Truth Social now.

Neither option is good. If he believes it he's a gullible fool. If he doesn't and its just to drive engagement he's just a POS and shouldn't be anywhere near owning a social media company. That he calls himself a humanitarian while driving divisions for likes says everything about him.

He's becoming Trump, won't tolerate being corrected and doesn't give a damn about truth.

Although your point is correct, x is a ****ing awful name, it hasn't been 2 years since it was named that. Renaming was much later

I disagree but only slightly. Community notes are an absolute beautiful feature, one that gives twitter a lot more value than it really should have. It makes lies by big accounts a little harder due to the community notes quickly appearing. I don't mind as much as now I'm able to see the idiots posts with the correction, so know someone like Musk is an even bigger idiot than I realised, rather than say just have the lying posts prevented altogether.

Indeed.
