The ORange Box on STEAM!!!!

Oh I'm still going to buy it but in all honestly there should be an option to buy HL:Ep2, portal and TF2 as a package on their own.

They will offer this and i would expect before launch (since they have said it will be available), however, it might only be $5-$10 cheaper than The Orange Box. You won't get to play TF2 early and you won't get the PopCap demo with special Orange Box additions :p

I am guessing they will open Black Box pre-orders after the TF2 beta/demo has been launched.
I am gonna try and flog HL2 and Ep1 to my friend and buy this. If i can get a tenner (should be able to) then thats £17 for all this goodness.

Damn them cheeky beggers at valve.

23quid from a shop. :/
£23 for The Orange Box?
Where? Cheapest i can find is £25, though i can get VAT off that to make it cheaper. I realise you can't actually tell me due to competitors but anyway.

Coolies, can we buy this box set in shops? Got all the others in dvd form and would like to have the set...

For clarification before i decide to buy, what happens when you have one of the games already? I mean how does steam let you know you have 2 copies? are there 2 entries or does it just give you an activation code?

EDIT: ok nevermind, just clicked on the link

Pants!

I gave my girlfriends nephew a stack of my PC games a while back as I didn't play them anymore. I've since purchased a laptop capable of playing some games but just realised I gave him HL2 as well, doh!

He can't obviously play it as he doesn't have my Steam details.

Keep meaning to get the HL2 DVD off him but won't be seeing him for a while and I've had a sudden urge to play CS:S all week.

Guess I'll have to wait.:(

Don't suppose I could download Steam and then download the game once I've logged into my account? Or would I need the install DVD?

Team Fortress 2 any in game footage of that, is it just a multiplayer game or any single player levels.

Well all videos of it so far use ingame gfx and there have been some ingame videos too - see STEAM!/Gametrailers.com

You're not really paying for them though, you're getting them for free. Anyone who complains about the price of this game needs a reality check.

£27 for everything in that box is a mircale compared to what other companies offer us.

How are you getting them for free exactly? That package is more than just TF2 on its own, alright, not by much but if you already own those games your still paying extra for nothing.

Im going to get this for definate but think I'll wait for the retail version.
